- DillonM1905Laramie, WY457 contributionsExcellent water sports area in the middle of this park. We went twice in a day - first to soak feet, later for full immersion in the river while watching the surfers. River flow rapid and high in mid-June. Lots of things to do here at this park for all ages.Written June 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mtzennmasterKapolei, HI1,527 contributionsWe got to Montrose a bit late for a trip up to see all the sights at Black Canyon so we did a search and discovered the Montrose Botanic Garden. A wonderful free opportunity to enjoy the biomes and the plants of Colorado and elsewhere. We spent about 90 minutes walking the paths and enjoying the foliage, the bees, and the views of the majestic peaks. There are even strategically placed tables and chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea too.Written June 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul L6 contributionsWe had an absolutely amazing time at the Flying Iron Ranch Alpacas! Larry and Brian were fantastic guides—so knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the alpacas. They made the whole experience fun and engaging, sharing interesting facts about the animals and answering all of our questions.
The alpacas themselves were adorable and so gentle. It was such a treat to interact with them up close and learn about their care and personalities. The setting of the ranch is beautiful too, which added to the overall charm of the experience.
This is a must-do for anyone visiting the area! Huge thanks to Larry and Brian for making it such a memorable day!Written October 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. NOTE: the only food they have is a charcuterie board. Outdoor patio is bland but inside space is lovely. check out their events page - fun.Written August 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
