Service was excellent, the food was wonderful, and the wine was so enjoyable we all joined the wine club after! There were 10 in our group. We never felt rushed, only relaxed and invited. The outside seating was perfect, and they turned the heaters on when it started getting colder. The food was awesome, and the bread and dipping sauce was to die for! We started off with the Brussel sprouts (which usually aren't my favorite but was very good!) My husband got Bolognese and I got the salmon; both were so good! The wine was very good also. - kathy e2 contributionsA really nice and clean casino. The hotel rooms are roomy and beds are comfortable. We enjoyed a round of golf while staying and ate at the casino restaurant. The food was good. Pricing was average. - Melanie AHolbrook, United States16 contributionsExcellent wines. Came here for a tasting on a Tuesday just after 12:00. Place was pretty quiet but the entertainment was setting up for 1:00. For almost an hour we had Chris all to ourselves getting loads of info about the wines and winery. He's knowledgeable and getting ready to get his sommelier certification. We like bold reds in general but also tried the Chardonnay and Vermentino and both were excellent. Didn't have a bad wine in the group. Landed up joining their wine club for visitors who don't live in the area so we can get shipments sent to us in NY and hopefully will be back to this area to take advantage of the in-person perks. - PBsd1 contributionSoCal wines are hit and miss due to the lack of proper wine grape growing conditions. Way too hot. Most wines I have enjoyed in Temecula are made from imported grapes. Very good food, wine and service at Miramonte. Lunch, wines ( excellent Rose) and conversation on the back patio was a true delight. I have not been to many places in this area but in my limited experience this is one of the best. Other highly rated places are a disaster. - busconiWenatchee, WA5,343 contributionsHeard great things about Doffo, and it didn't disappoint. We tasted in barrel room filled top to bottom with vintage vespas and motorcycles. There are actually quite a few spots to taste at this winery and lovely views out toward the valley. Our server really knew his stuff...we learned much from him about the history of the winery and the wines. It is always appreciated when the staff at the winery have a thorough understanding of the wine and wine process. We had the red flight and I have to say I enjoyed all six of the pours. We wound up purchasing several bottles. If we lived nearby, I think I would join the wine club here.
The only thing missing was having something to cleanse the palate...like some bread nibbles, crackers....even water.
