All three instructors were amazing, Amy, Rus, and James - lots of explanations, helpful tips and hints right on spot, was so much fun with the guys!
Already on the first day I managed to surf and enjoy the waves, wow what a great feeling, such a beautiful experience to try surfing and connect to the ocean. Highly recommend to anyone.

The audio guide was helpful and interesting. I think I would have liked more info about some of the stops. - Max S3 contributionsMy teenage daughter has always wanted to learn how to surf. On our recent trip to San Francisco, we stayed at a local hotel right on the beach and within walking distance of Pacifica, Lindamar Beach. We booked online 2 private lessons for the weekend. The instructors were so great!! My daughter had a blast. They were in the water catching waves pretty quickly. I definitely feel like we got our money worth. The water is quite cold. A wet suit was provided with the lesson, which was great. - Justin Peek1 contributionMary McGarvey was our tour guide and we had very informed and fun trip from San Francisco to Big Sur, Carmel and ultimately Hearst Castle.
Marys 'Janis Joplin-like' features (don't tell her I said that) only added to her excellent background info at all points.
She seemed ready to regal us on any other stop that we could have chosen along the way.
I learned so much from Mary as a representative of Golden Horizon Tours, her surrender to the field of "tour guide", her passionate knowledge of California but was especially impressed with getting to know the person behind it all.
