    Outstanding trip
    The office for tickets was very friendly, the boat crew was knowledgable and pointed out many aspects of the wildlife we saw. There were plenty of opportunities to see whales and we even saw 3 whale breaches which was fantastic.

    Highlight of my trip to Monterey
    SUCH a great time! Andrew was our guide on 9/17 and he was lovely. We saw a ton of whales (10+), some breaching, many close ups, and two types of dolphins. The commentary throughout was great and they were truly experts at getting us to the right spot at the right time. Lots of facts and stories. The boat moved slowly which was great for those worried about sea sickness and was a good group size - the boat is smaller so you aren’t fighting crowds. Check in and boarding was also seamless. Was the highlight of my trip with my mom to Monterey and I highly recommend this tour.

    Best way to explore the Coastal Trail!
    We had a great morning 16 mile ride with Ben as our tour guide. Ben was great! We kept a great pace, made frequent stops to take in a lot of breathtaking views and saw a bit (not “tons”) of wildlife. We had a chance to take a break at Pebble Beach to grab a coffee, shop and explore the course area/clubhouse, which as golfers, we loved! I highly recommend doing the e-bike over driving for a fun experience. Good for all ages and levels of experience on bikes. Be sure to dress warmer (in layers) for the chilly days. When on an e-bike the wind will make it much more breezy and colder. However, they do have gloves for you onsite to borrow if you forget yours. They also provide you with snacks and water to take with you before you leave for the ride. Great operation!!

    Worthy but overpriced.
    I really enjoyed this 11 hour ride, more so than when I drove it myself, 30 years ago: I could look around from above the tall bus without any driving concerns, the stops were judiciously chosen, Danillo (the driver) was entertaining and informative in his explanations. However, the $120 cost is too much. Also, for more enjoyment, it is important to try to sit on the right (sea) side of the bus...

    Perfect
    Very beautiful experience, with a kind and experienced captain. We saw many grey Wales, dauphins nad lion seals. Super beautiful.

    10 out of 10 Big Sur
    Excellent tour! This was the best way to see Big Sur. Our guide Carlos was amazing. Can't recommend this tour enough!

    Great Lifetime Experience
    Everyone should do this at least once in their life. The experience was amazing. The crew on my boat were knowledgeable and professional. I did witness some immaturity from other “shipmates” but the situation was handled well, without the crew even knowing what was happening. Their enthusiasm and expertise exceeded any negativity from other passengers. The sea life was amazing, I had a really great time. I definitely will be going again, when I can sneak away from work. I’m really grateful for the experience.

    Walking Ghost Tour in Monterey with guide
    I thought the tour was great. Luke, our guide, was the absolute best. He not only was able to take us to haunted places. But gave me a good understanding of the history of Monterey.

    More Than Our Money’s Worth
    Everything about this experience was so wonderful. My boyfriend and I were not sure how many whales we could expect to see. But we saw sooo many! One even popped its head up at me roughly 5 feet from the boat!
    We also saw plenty of dolphins—they were “playing” with us and swimming in tandem with our boat for quite some time.

    The crew and everyone involved were so knowledgeable, directed you where the best views were, and really made the experience special—complete with singing a sea shanty at the end. You will be so glad you went!

    Great staff and location
    Great staff! Great location! So much fun! What a blast! They also had bikes and other items to rent. Will definitely use them again!

    Storybook Cottage
    Overall, a very nice experience. The cottages were totally charming! We are locals and it was something different to do in Carmel. When we had to cross Ocean Avenue, it was a little dangerous because there was no crosswalk. There should be a warning that some parts of the walk are steep. People not in shape shouldn’t attempt this tour. The guide was really helpful and warned if you went the wrong way. Those in decent shape should try it once!

    Not enough time.
    I found we didn’t have enough time in Monterey and Carmel. I would rather we could spend half a day in Monterey and half a day in Carmel.

    What an awesome experience! The bus, Steve (the owner/guide, wine and the beautiful backdrop make this a must do while in Monterey/Carmel. 5 stars out of 5!
