What travelers are saying
- Amy MCompton, CA222 contributionsThis location is close to Placentia VA Clinic snd decided to take a short walk. It's a very relaxing area, very easy to spend an hour walking around. It was pretty cool that there were narrow, secretish type paths. Very nice calm place for people all ages. Lots of benches. Only downside is $4 parking and unfortunately none of the proceeds go to Arboretum, they only take donations.Written October 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John T8 contributionsBeen coming here for years, nice place to experience nature and relax. - A V T169 contributionsSaw a show done by Troy High School theatre program, normally the show is done by adults. Annual show around Halloween time.
Recommend this theatre for an intimate setting, smaller shows and production.
Located across from Fullerton train station. Many restaurants within walking distance.Written December 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ronald FPlacentia, CA132 contributionsA Greek comedy (R rated by today's standards, and NOT for children) written by Aristophanes, and first performed in 411 BC. The play has been modernized and is about women withholding favors from men in a hope of ending the war. Dance and song have been infused into the one act play. The Hallberg Theater is small and intimate. No reserved seating. Come early for your choice of seats. Front row seating sets for seniors is best. Not a bad seat in the house. CSUF Art students are known for their performing abilities and professionalism. Live theater at an extremely fair price. You won't be disappointed. Senior tickets priced same as students.Written April 14, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ray G1 contributionI think this Fullerton AMC went out its way to attract business by upgrading to wide plush seats with footrests just to name a few things as well as excellent accommodations for the disabled. But prices have gone sky high as a result of the improvements. Luckily the parking is free. As a senior I go when there is discount for us which is Tuesday morning and afternoon. So I cannot say when majority of the younger crowd goes to the movies. But personally I like the sparseness of the crowd so you find good seat almost every time you go to the movies. But then the prices of the popcorn, steak dinners, hard drinks, coca colas, candy can go sky high.

- Jim KIndio, CA668 contributionsThey were having a Movie Poster Exhibit and the Leo Fender Guitar Exhibit. The Fender exhibit was great and gave you a lot of news about Fender and the history of his company. A must for anyone who is a Fender Guitar fan. - BruceJ32406Fountain Valley, CA126 contributionsA great place to visit if you enjoy a variety in craft beers selections. Causal atmosphere with friendly staff and always helpful in answering any questions you may have. They will be opening another establishment in Costa Mesa in 2018.Written June 21, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - P R3 contributionsI love Tac City! Here's a list of great things about this place:
- Beat bang for your buck at $20 - $25 for entry
- Friendly staff that is patient with newcomers
- Safety is their priority
- The field changes every week.
- Helpful techs upstairs and great pro shop staff
- Amazing community of regular players
- Training area to get comfortable with your guns
- Big selection of gun parts, gear, and guns
- Night mode games with crazy lights
- Different promos throughout the week
- Open 7 days so I can go whenever I get free time
- Vending machines and dogs allowed!
These guys can come off strict but it's all for player safety. The only issue I have is with different refs enforcing some rules and not others. Rules seem to be always changing and It's not always clear what the standard is.
Everyone should try out Tac City and see for themselves that this place is bad ass and a whole lot of fun. - Treasure HBuena Park, CA4 contributionsThis was the hands down best little thrift shop in Fullerton! The ladies who worked there were so sweet and welcoming and always ready to help and answer questions. Best prices everything was clean and orderly it was such a welcoming and nice place. We are so sad that they closed and have been waiting for them to reopen somewhere because we miss seeing the employees as well as the amazing selection they had of everything. Hope you all come back. #1Written February 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
