This is not a large mall but I would show a mid size outlet.
    The location is convenient.
There are good array of shops with decent discount.
    The food options are plenty.

A great farmers market! We sat inside a restaurant drank a beer and watched everyone set up their stands! Finished our beers and headed out to shop! Got some amazing Zucchini bread and banana chocolate chip bread! Enjoyed smelling all the beautiful flowers for sale as well!

First of all, The Forum is attractive. The sidewalks have irregular pebble designs through them, there’s nice landscaping throughout, sculptures and water features dot the campus, and nice music plays from above.

Secondly, there’s a great array of shops and restaurants so almost any personal or household item you might want can be found there.

Bottom line, it’s a nice place with lots of businesses to meet your needs.

I've visited and worked with the artists from COAL for several years now and have always had rewarding results. The have collaborated with us in international exhibitions and juried shows (Carlsbad Sister City Ambassadors), especially with Czechia. Their gallery keeps the shows fresh and the volunteers are pleasant.

Reading these reviews it seems people either love or hate this place. I'm not an antique lover. My friend and I like to thrift store shop and sometimes come here when looking for a specific item. I like thrift store prices not antique prices. She first brought me here about 6 or 7 years ago. I purchased a Georgia O'keeffe print. Nicely framed and on sale it matched my decor. I later found another print for my living room. Some stalls are a little junkie but the variety changes. Guess they have free coffee and cookies but I have never sampled. There is plenty of parking in the back, down the driveway between the two separated stores.
I was recently looking for a wood bookcase, specific size etc. We happened to stop here and they had the right item. but then I wondered how I would get it home and it was more than I wanted to pay. The front desk lady said the vendor never put his things on sale. That was on a Fri. I talked with a neighbor who said he could pick it up for me so on Wed i drove the short distance from Vista arriving around 10am only to discover they didn't open until 10:30. Another person waiting said "thus is a sleepy town". But behold, it had been reduced to just what I wanted to pay. So on this occasion they had the right thing and the right price. Always worth a second look and in my case the price was right the second time around.

No trip to Carlsbad is complete until we pay a visit to Olde Ivy Antiques. The store combines sections of rental spaces leased by individual vendors with the store's own beachie vibe of beautiful furnishings, paintings, decor items, and gift selections.

This time around, we left with two absolutely stunning ornaments (we will need a bigger tree!) One was a blown glass octopus and the other a hand-made shell angel. And Christmas is exactly how far away? (Answer: too far). Cannot wait to display these!

We had a great time here learning to make pottery in a 2-3 hour lesson. Sorry, I can't remember how long we were there because we had so much fun. The studio is in an artist's cooperative so there are other art-based businesses for shopping. We arrived and April (the owner) had tools, supplies and pottery wheels ready for us. You can bring your own snacks and after a brief introduction, she gets you on the wheel and teaches you to make your own ceramics. We made a bowl, plate and cup - though mine didn't quite come out looking right, it was SOOO much fun. This was a great activity for our girls night, but would also be great for families or couples.

I visited Copper Canary whilst traveling in California, and found the store very refreshing in terms of jewellery shopping experience. It's not the usual same boring designs as most high street jewellers, here you find a myriad of antique jewellery as well as beautiful unique modern creations. Definitely worth a visit if you like high quality products.

Both my husband and I are big fans of shopping at Macy’s when we visit the USA because of the great bargains there are to be had, and the extra discounts for being foreign visitors.

So we were delighted to find one in the north of Carlsbad a couple of miles away from Carlsbad Village.

If you are not driving, best way of getting there and back is via Uber.

This isn’t the best shopping mall we have been too and feels like it is still a work in progress.

There are separate men’s and women’s Macy’s stores. Also a Sears and JC Penney.

There are also other stores such as bath and body works, H & M, footlocker, pandora and vans. Also there is a Cheesecake Factory and a cinema.

Five mins walk away is also a Marshall’s.

Worth a visit if you like shopping as there were definitely bargains available.

This is one of the smaller surf shops in the area but after visiting nearly every other shop from Oceanside to Encinitas, I inevitably end up back here.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. And while there aren't 50 brands of leashes, fins, etc. to choose from, they don't need it because they always carry the best so I always check here first. I've come to regret too many of my purchases from larger shops so this is my goto now for anything surf related.

So elated to find this place still open with the COVID situation. I’ve been craving an authentic Creme Puff for several months and hard to find so it was the perfect compliment to my afternoon exploring Carlsbad. And they had outdoor tables set up to enjoy the Deliscious-ness. I was pleasantly surprised to not only have it filled with real whipped cream but also vanilla custard. YUM!! 😋
