Amazing view. Mayon Volcano is highly recommended for its breathtaking natural beauty and iconic shape. It’s a must-see for anyone traveling to the Bicol region, offering stunning vistas, cultural insights, and a range of activities. it was hot but it was a best experience especially for a couple. I would love to be here again! and with family

The view of Mayon was stunning. There is no better majestic volcano than this. Cagsawa Ruins is one of the better locations to view this. My only drawback is that its too crowded, and its hard to park due to the volume of tourists. We were there on a summer and its quite hot.

Beautiful falls - not so High but large volume of water and many mini falls - some rapids and lush tropical rain forest surrounding it with lots of botanical diversity - - nice areas for swimming in crystal clear water with many little fish - internet available - tables available and facilities - 79’ F right now
More waterfalls available but have to climb to access them

I went there on Monday morning, November 6th, 2023, at 8am. I was going to get a jeepney to get there, but the hotel staff advised to get a tricycle for convenience. I'm glad I followed their advise, because the tricycle took me right to the entrance. If I'd taken the jeepney, I would have had to walk another 15 minutes from the road to the entrance.

The place is a Botanist's dream! I saw clumps of bamboos trying to survive under the shades of larger trees, while being strangled by wild vines. Most plants are obviously water loving, with plenty of moisture lingering from the evening rain.

The walk was about 15 to 20 minutes, and it got steeper the closer you get to the top. There were a couple of benches halfway, which you can rest and take pictures of the city. You can't see the volcano till you get to the top.

Nobody collected fees, but no stores open either. Luckily, I bought my own water. The views from the top was amazing! I counted a total of 6 visitors to the area, plus three staff (could be volunteers?) cleaning the grounds.

The place was still being renovated, no toilet access, but hey, if you're desperate, plenty of bushland around😊.

I would advise to go there before 9am, because by 9, onwards, the clouds tends to descend on the volcano, hiding most of it. Ditto if you're going to Cagsawa Ruins.

This mall was alright to walk around and there's a few shops but not too many sport shops like I wanted. The food court up top is handy with cheap foods.

I went here to enjoy the view of the city. The gate said it's closed for works but I read another review that you can walk up so I went through. It was nice up the top after a 20 minute walk. Great views around the city and volcano. Worth a look in Legazpi.

The Franciscan missionaries established established themselves in this area around 1587. The original wooden structure of the church stood here around 1635 only did it become concrete in 1834. The previous structures were destroyed by fire and war. Today i stands as the seat of the arch diocese and the cathedral of Legazpi. Located in the old district near the plaza and government offices. Beside this area is a fast food chain, milling around this area is save and a good jump off point if your on your way to Cagsawa. #RP

This is a standing bronze colored statue of one of the celebrated Governor of the province. Claim to fame, structural developments to Legazpi city. This statue is beside an old canon too. #RP
