I did go during the less touristy month of November, nevertheless I received great personal care and service. I went for game drive to the Moremi park and I also did the canoe/Mokoro activity. The manager, Lesego, is great. I can not say enough good things about her. Our guide Moses was a brilliant guide and ensured that we had a very positive experience taking home with us memories of a huge array of animals, previously only seen in books and zoos! His knowledge of animals, birds, trees and plant life was amazing!
Simon and the team looked after us really well despite the challenges they faced with punctures and supply trucks. We loved our tents and found the camp beds really comfortable and the al fresco showers and loo surprisingly easy. Having animals so close to our camp made this especially magical.
The river safari in Chobe was a great end to the trip, allowing us to see many of the animals a lot closer up and from a different perspective, and the transfer from Chobe to Victoria Falls went very smoothly.
If we were doing this again, we would add in one or two extra days so that we could build in more 2-night stays during the holiday (we did a 5-day trip). This would make it more relaxing allowing for an occasional afternoon siesta instead of consecutive days of long drives. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed what we did despite being very tired at the end!
A wonderful holiday and one that we will definitely recommend to others.

On this unforgettable 11 day journey we navigated the tranquil waters of the Okavango Delta, up early for daily safaris with our knowledgable guide O.T who prioritises your safety while enriching your adventure all the time incorporating everything the magical savannah delivers. The thrill of spotting native wildlife; lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffe, impala, elephants, painted dogs, hyenas and many more all in the comfort of your vehicle, boat or mokoro. Our meals and sleep were interrupted by the call of the wild, so don't miss this opportunity to create lasting memories as you soak up and sweat the harsh beauty of Botswana, Lastly, a special thanks to our "safari Squad" OT, (guide), Ollie (cook), Election (driver & camp hand) and Freddie (apprentice camp hand). Everyday you rose with a smile, great food and company as we journeyed through Moremi, Kwai, Delta, and Chobe National Park. This was a safari of a lifetime. Highly recommend Walking Stick tours to anyone who is adventurous and truly awaits to capture the African calling. The game drive was amazing and we were lucky enough to see the big 5. Kay was our driver and he was brilliant! - Sarah hGreater London, UK23 contributionsWe enjoyed a Khwai and Moremi 4 night safari with this amazing safari company. We booked quite late and when other companies were telling us everything was impossible and booked Travel Creations made the magic happen. We were impressed by their efficiency at organising our trip and the clarity of their communication with us right from the start.
This extremely professional service was followed through by our fantastic and knowledgeable guide, who took us to see such a brilliant range of animals and birds: leopards ( including a warthog giving a leopard a stand off!)lions , elephants , kingfishers diving for dinner, honey badgers and banded mongeese to name just a few. This all amongst stunning scenery where at the end of each dusk drive we enjoyed glorious sunsets. He also would brief us each evening on what was planned for the following day or to negotiate any particular requests.
Our camp was equally pleasurable: great tasty food and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We would sit around a lantern -lit table and camp fire chatting, gazing at the starry night sky or exclaiming at the odd hyena that might slink by.
I have been on other safaris and can honestly say that the standard set by this company is very good. They exceeded my expectations.

- Carol MChagrin Falls, OH7 contributionsOur vacation was amazing due to our wonderful guide and crew. Titi was so experienced, intelligent, witty, respectful, organized,thoughtful,and so kind. You can tell he loves his job even after 30+ years,his family, his employees, and his country. He is an expert tracker, and so knowledgeable about all the animals, birds , and plants. The tent accommodations were clean and comfortable. And better then most hotels. The food was some of the best I have ever had. Sam his chef and KP made everything exceptional. Our guide not only found the animals, but patiently and respectfully gave us the opportunity to really capture and appreciate the nature and beauty of Botswana. I am left with such good memories and was sad to leave our new friend. It was seriously the best vacation I have ever had! - Imre H1 contributionWe had an amazingly interesting tour with Walking Stick Safari in the Okavango delta. Unfortunately we could not get to Chief Island, since there was not enough water in the river, - but the guys helped us to find an equally satisfying experience. We had mokoro trips and many walking tours in the savannah where we could discover animal and bird life in a close way. Experience of having long walks and discover elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, antilops and birds in their natural habitat without disturbing them was an unparallel experience. Obama, our guide proved to ba an excellend companion guide. During the 3 days we had our private cook Elecion, who was able to serve perfect and delicious lunches and dinners mad all on open fire. In the evenings we had great conversations with the guys and learned a lot about their life and preferences, just as well we told our life. We got good friends in the meantime.

- Walter K1 contributionFor the background: Our trip was a '21 Nights Tailor Made Trip', just for the two of us, leading us to Ntwetwe Pan, Nxai Pan, Tsodilo, Moremi, Kwai, Savuti, Chobe starting in Maun and ending in Kasane. We booked the trip with Lucas from home via the internet.
Once we finished our joint planning, Lucas wrote in an email 'this journey will change your life' - and it did! Lucas guided us as guests into the realm of the wild animals of Botswana so that we felt close and welcome. With his extensive experience and profound knowledge of the entire fauna and flora he both taught and entertained us, but most memorable of all he led us to many overwhelming encounters with fascinating animals both big and small, including all the iconic safari mammals, but also rare species like wild dogs, many birds, and more. These encounters felt new, surprising, and somehow even more exciting every day.
Our game drives usually started from and ended at our tent camps, where Lucas and his team, Mosa (the chef), Monametsi and Gisto, pampered us in every conceivable way and in a warm-hearted, almost family-like atmosphere. - Helen YTownsville, Australia7 contributionsFantastic experience in the Okavango Delta. Stayed two nights in a camp by the water with my husband, the guide and a camp helper. Well set up with pit toilet, and bucket shower. Two man tent had mattresses, clean white sheets and doona - very comfy. Animal viewing from camp site was amazing as were the two walking safaris we did each day with guide. Fire kept burning 24/7 so always hot water for tea/coffee and hot showers, and used to cook meals.
