We followed a pack of wild dogs on a kill and saw many other animals. We stayed at Duke's Camp which was amazing!

Obviously, the Okavango River is responsible for creating the Okavango Delta. But the river itself is worthy of special attention because of all of the animals it draws during the dry season. We were there in late May, at the end of the dry season before the rains came and surprising, the river really the only place where one sees water...the delta is completely dry (especially this past year). So regardless of season, the Okavango River does not disappoint with all of the animals that it draws as well as its own natural beauty.

We were actually at Moremi in May, at the end of their dry season before the rains come. We thought it might be easier to see the animals when there were fewer places for water, but our guide told us that regardless of the time of year, there is plenty of animals to see...and boy, was he right! We were there for three days, so we had a total of 6 drives and on each drive we had an amazing experience. From early morning lion kills of a zebra to the late afternoon elephant family playing with their kids in the mud, the viewing was some of the best we've ever had. Definitely will be going back!!

Exploring Maun on a somewhat rainy day and curious what it has to offer besides the obvious safari-activities, we found "The Space".
The Space is a small art gallery (paintings, photo's, sculptures) in a shipping container with works from local and international artists. We were warmly welcomed and got a tour by the founders and owners who are also artists.
The Space is great initiative, Maun deserves some art and the artists some support. Go and have a look!

We flew Mac air from Kasane to Okavango Delta and from Okavango Delta to Maun. The service was great. Our pilot from Okavango Delta showed up in a 4 seater to take us to Maun. I was not expecting this small of a plane but the pilot was fantastic, he was funny and a very competent flyer. I would highly recommend Mac Air.

Nice stop to have good cappuccino, a delicious piece of fresh homemade cake, a milkshake, and more. Some cute little shops selling hand made yarns, vintage clothes, etc.

We went to Namibia and Christelle planned us an amazing trip!! Everything was so well organized from our arrival at the airport, to all of our bookings, and she accomodating some last minute changes we wanted to make. The lodges she chose were fantastic and exceeded our expectations.

Everyone on the ground was wonderful to work with, and I can't recommend Namibia and working with Christelle enough!

Life has gotten in the way of me writing this review as our flight was in June 2022 but better late than never..............
Our trip was originally booked for 2020 but as for many others C19 had other plans for us. HH rescheduled without any issues and for that we were grateful. At all times correspondence was swift.

To the flight itself......Unforgetable, one of those experiences which will last us a lifetime. Our pilot was a lovely young man called Dylan, professional and friendly. We had the sunset trip with a sundowner stop. We had Okavango "The Sentinal" Gin rather than Champagne, we much prefer gin and the locally made gin is delicious.

We had doors off the helicopter so that we were able to take photos. The scenery, the sunset brought me to tears. Stunning, simply stunning. It might be a wee bit costly but as we get to our twilight years and realise that you have to live for today as tomorrow is never certain, I say do it now. You won't regret it.

We went on a custom 5 day Chobe & Victoria Falls Safari. Booking this with Kahlahari Breeze was seamless. We had reached out to them, gave them the list of places we were thinking of going (Chobe National park and victoria falls), our budget for the entire trip, and duration. Maria replies promptly with full details and gave us great suggestions based on our preferences. As this was our first time in Africa we weren’t sure what to expect.
The accommodations were amazing, food incredible, and excellent game drives, boating drives, and a sunset cruise.
Everything was taken care of - all we had to do was show up! We will definitely be booking with them for all future visits. Highly recommend. If you don’t see something exact to your requirements, I recommend reaching out to them and having a conversation!

We had the most wonderful stay at Lazy River. Beautiful tents, fishing. Sounds of hippo at night. And fish eagles in the am
