Lots pf reviews on here from people just showing up. It is not a museum No no ,no you need to sign up for a tour. You cannot just show up and go in there. Try again, and sign up for the tour. Pretty amazing view and architecture wonder from a master. The view of the grounds is worth the price of admission alone.

I can sincerely appreciate the architecture of this building and the history of it originally planned as the Baghdad opera house. I am disappointed though in the overall acoustics when attending a Broadway musical; the dialogue does not come through loud and clear starting in the balcony area.

This is a historical building that is still in use as one of the locations of the Maricopa County Superior Court. You can visit the historical courtrooms and see a live case before the court. Check with security on the hearings of the day. See justice at work in the Old Courthouse.
