This square includes several old homes and buildings that were preserved as the modern downtown built up next to it. Tours of the Victorian house and the cottages are available during the day. The plaza also hosts a South American restaurant and a pizza restaurant as well as the science museum. There is a free audio tour online that tells you about the buildings and history of the square. It’s with a stop if you are in the area.

Amazing temple structure. Benches and landscape for peaceful meditation and walking (weather permitting). It is a Desert Oasis and a must see when visiting Phoenix!

Fun place to walk around and lots of lively bars to choose from. A few cool stores with local artisan flare (you might be disappointed if you’re expecting a lot of shopping options).

We were visiting and decided to head down mid-day on a Sunday. Most things were not open other than a few restaurants. The ice skating looked like fun....but was not open until mid-afternoon. Overall, looks like it could be a neat place to explore....on any other day.

It’s part of the entire Papago Park system and is close to Hole in the Wall. Take water as terrain easy but hot. It’s a tiled pyramid with Hunt and his wife. Beautiful scenery of park and Phoenix.

What a tranquil, peaceful place! This is a beautiful quaint church that when you walk in you just feel at peace with the smell of incense lingering in the air. The Shrine to St Sharbel is outdoors and a great place to meditate and reconnect. I ran into the priest who is friendly and welcoming. There is a tiny gift shop on site. Worth the stop!

A little small for a state fair as to what I'm used to. We go to walk and shop, not ride. Not much in the expo hall as far as vendors. Good amount of animals on display if you can get over the smell. I was impressed with the number of food vendors. A lot of options and variety for snacks and meals. We were in and out in well under 90 minutes.

Beautiful Memorial that sits on a hill overlooking the area. Very difficult to find without a GPS guiding you. No signs along the way to assist you. Definitely worth the trip to remember this part of our sad American history.

It’s just an abandoned creepy stone home. I read about it before going. It’s not worth maki g a trip for just this. The park is nice, there is ample trails and there are horses to ride nearby.

This is a wonderful designed court house. It was the location for the Jody Arias trial. This is one of the most modern designed court house. It provides for a magestic view of the Phoenix skyline. The court rooms are designed with the public in mind. You can visit and see a trial in action. The visit is free.

In times that we have problems with nasty people we need to call the The Artzone 9-11.

Safety is more important. Memorial 911 Artzone 9-11. Call if it will be hurt by something.
