Everything you need to see of the Grand Canyon and Sedona is packed into a 1 day excursion from Phoenix. It was a great experience and even better because we didn’t have to drive ourselves, which in hindsight proved to be a great decision. You’re taken to the best viewing areas of the GC and Sedona. You get more than enough free time to chill at the GC and meander through the village of Sedona. It’s a great way to experience the GC and Sedona if your time is limited. However, if you want to go hiking, water rafting or kayaking, or see the GC from other vistas other than the south rim, the 1 day excursion isn’t for you. Our guide and driver Mark was outstanding. He’s extremely knowledgeable and personable and doesn’t bore you with esoteric facts or stories that nobody needs to hear, nor does he talk excessively. He guiding was perfect and on point. A great 1 day adventure.
