    The national park is stunning… it’s hard to see so beautiful clear and pure water… the guiding and service was great and the snacks and food delicious!!!!

    Review of: Glaxiar Mountain & Adventure Co.
    Beautiful day on the lake - Greak Forest Walk
    We booked the Tour of Parque los Alerces with the Company Glaxiar in October 2018 and we can highly recommend it. We went with a rental car to the Park. If you do that, don‘t leave any later than 8am from Esquel, maybe even 7:30! That is, because the walk from the parking lot to the boat takes about 30-40 Minutes and is so beautiful in itself that you shouldn‘t miss it.
    The Tour itself was very well organized, the captain and the tour guide very friendly. We took the Tour to see the Alerce Tree that is 2600 years old. The boat ride there was very beautiful, with snowcapped mountains on all sides, a view of a glacier. Near a lovely island we had a break for coffee or argentinian Mate tea and some cookies, which was a nice touch!
    Then we disembarked at a remote edge of the lake where we took an easy walk/hike of about an hour to reach the main atraction: a huge 2600 years old tree! Here and there we got explanations from our guide. Afterwards, we got some time back on the boats rear deck to enjoy our packed lunch.

    All in all, a lovely day on a lake, feeling rather remote and relaxed. The hike is not very challenging. It was one of the most beautiful days we spent in Patagonia snd we can fully recommend Glaxiar tours. Recommendation: Get a rental car for the day and pick a spot for a pick-nick after the tour on your way there. Then after the tour, see the waterfall and have a pick-nick.

    Review of: Kayak Soul
    Great people, fantastic experience
    This is the second trip I make with "Kayak Soul", first was in Parque de los Alerces last year. I had a great time so I decided to come back on dicember and navigate the Rio Chubut during a full week.
    Gustavo and Carlos are really professional and form a great team. Their equipment (tents, kayaks) is up to date. what else?

    Review of: Huemules - Reserva de Montana
    Simply incredible!
    I was so lucky to stay for 4 days and 3 nights in this magical and incredible place. It already starts when you are going up the mountain from Esquel and see all the incredible nature around you (at that time, there was still some snow on the mountain caps). When you arrive at the property the staff are waiting to welcome you. Everything is simply magical. The domes are very comfortable. At night when you arrive to your room the fireplace is burning since it tends to get cold and your slippers are ready for your arrival. The food and excursions during the day will simply leave you in awe, and the best of all, is without any doubt, the staff. From the food service, the people that welcome you and guides that take you through the surroundings and of course the attention to detail that is given to your room (look for the little chocolate), everything feels just right. You will without any doubt lose sense about the world around you and will have a lot of trouble leaving this experience behind!
