- DrCDBChile533 contributionsSuch a beautiful place. One of the few canyons that you can actually cross it end to end. The rock formations are incredible. Sadly you can not really do trekking here as the tours are basically done by car as the canyon crossing is quite long. Anyway it will be great to have trekking opportunities in a such an amazing place.Written May 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We then paid ARS 1,000 to spend a day on a camping site (actually the bus has a stop there). We could get into the water and enjoy the afternoon on the beach. This is a very nice and economical option to enjoy this spot, and a suitable one for people who are either travelling on a budget, or who are mainly interested in swimming and sunbathing. If I had I known I could get to Los Reyunos by public transportation some years ago, I would not have hired a tour to get to this dam. Of course, some people prefer renting a car or having a van picking them up from hotels so this is a matter of personal preference.Written January 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jonathan B12 contributionsBeautiful to relax by, it is like a huge pool for the water is still thanks to the dam, can easily kayak there. Just don't recommend Portal del Atuel, very unprofessional, food is ugly and late and cold, unhelpful staff.Written January 30, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - kesit0Buenos Aires, Argentina629 contributionsUnfortunately, with our big group of several families, we just took the short, 100 pesos super basic tour. Next time we absolutely take the 1,5 hours winery tour. Very nice instalations though!Written December 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- kesit0Buenos Aires, Argentina629 contributionsThis tour is explaining more about the founders of the winery than the process of wine making. Still it is a must visit in San Rafael! Very nice guide.Written December 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sirfairclothVilla La Angostura, Argentina1 contributionMy husband and I spent the day visiting several wineries in the San Rafael area. I can hands down say that this was the best. While some of the others may be slightly more popular Alfredo Roca by far has the best premises and professionalism. We were able to message them for a same day wine tasting, tour and empanada tasting. The property is beautiful and while we tasted our wine, we were greeted by Alfredo Roca himself! Theyāre a family thatās proud of what they do so believe that translates into the wine itself. Iād love to return to try other offerings they may have in the future.Written September 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Agustin R154 contributionsThe place is very interesting from a historic point of view, since the Argentinian writer J. L. Borges used to visit that finca.Written May 26, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JnanayogSt. John's, Canada4,121 contributionsA major characteristics of this Plaza has to be it's size. From the town map it looks to be some 9 - 10 blocks in length with a street or so crossing it. Next would be the large area given over to Children and it has many child safety equipment avail for use. The other feature has to be the Huge Tall trees and Wow are the numerous and Tall.so very wonderful to have the space to create this Plaza and a Town / City up to its creation.Written February 23, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - R C46 contributionsWe were made very welcome (even though we joined a tour a little after it had started) and the tour was very informative with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. We tasted three wines, all of which which were delicious, and dispelled some myths about wine-tasting. Good fun!Written September 12, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
