What travelers are saying
- Stu D3 contributionsWe loved our day there. It is an hour away from Buenos Aires but well worth the drive. The park itself was excellent but our service at the customer service was absolutely outstanding. Due to a misunderstanding with our return taxi ride we were left stranded and Carolina at customer service along with another agent whose name I missed came to our rescue. They spent time with us helping us to contact our booking company and then arranging a replacement taxi. It was a great ending to a very good day. Thank you Carolina and co-worker.Written January 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- frasercameronLondon, UK153 contributionsYou really don’t need an expensive tour from Buenos Aires. Just take the train from Retiro to Tigre(less than one USD for two return!). Then you can take an hour trip in a boat for 4,000 pesos. Then walk along the river to the Arts museum and the naval museum. Plenty of places to eat.Written December 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DrCDBChile533 contributionsWe went to La Plata just to visit this cathedral and it was worth it. We were bot aware that there was a museum and a lift that takes you several stores close to the top of the cathedral. That was quite impressive and interesting. If you have visited lots of this type of cathedrals in Europe you probably will not get the excitement but this not thst commonly find in LatinAmerica.Written September 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maria Fisch3 contributionsWe had read about this gorgeous Basilica in Lujan. It was indeed truly magnificent. The town itself however was nothing special. The transportation museum across the plaza from the Basilica was quite interesting. We were not charged to enter. It is a shame it is so shabby I’m not kept up because it had some very interesting planes boats carriages and a train.Written February 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HopeTrinidad191 contributionsIt's really beautiful here. The gardens have lavender and smell so wonderful. There are tours given for the inside of the house but you can also feel free to walk around the gardens and sit on a bench and relax.Written August 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - giselaMonte Grande, Argentina1 contributionI went to Tandil on holidays last february with my family. If you really enjoy being sorrounded by nature this is a perfect place.
There are a lot of people doing activities like walking and running. Also there are many places to visit like " El cerro Centinela", "La piedra movediza" or " el picapiedrero" full of lovely landscapes and activities such as climbing, tirolesa and other adventures.
In the central área of the city there are places where you should try "picadas", a tipical food there.

Some were open. But I think this is more of a weekend thing. Still, pretty nice area to walk around and shop for local crafts in Tigre.Written March 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
