Good trip, nice to see Luanda and hear some of the history. President Biden was arriving and many of the roads were closed but they managed to get us back to the cruise ship in time. Well done!

The whole trip was amazing, it’s really a must do while in Cape Town!!!! Excellent service from nice, funny, clever and knowledgeable guides, supporting us during the day. We had great weather and clear water, so the view was fantastic both from the boat and for the ones observing from the cage. Snacks and beverage were also included.

What a wonderful experience. Mawande was so knowledgeable and really taught us a lot about the very interesting history of South Africa as well as all the different sites and villages on the drive to the Garden Route Lodge,
The Safari was fantastic! We saw all the animals over the two days including a cheetah with her cubs, which was very special. The lodge itself was beautiful, with super friendly/helpful staff and unbelievable food. I would love to return with the whole family.

The 2 Day Wildlife + Safari with Hotspots2c was amazing!!! It was a great opportunity to visit Buffelsdrift and Botlieskop again. The guide TK was perfect and extremely professional, polite and intelligent. His knowledge was incredible. It was not my first time with this amazing company. All my times in South Africa I choose Hotspots2c, because they're perfect. 😍

Paul was brilliant. He took care of us all throughout the whole day, taking us whale watching, showing us around Hermanus, and taking us to the Cheetah Sanctuary. We had such a great day. Thank you Paul.

We loved this tour. Our guide was very good, able to offer his personal perspective having been a prisoner at Robben Island. My only criticism is the length of the tour. There was so much to read and absorb, I wish we could have lingered at the prison longer and spent less time riding around the island. A special thank you to Joseph who worked really hard to make sure we didn’t miss the boat after a communications mix up. He was kind and professional throughout what was a stressful situation for him and us.

This was an excellent tour! We saw so many beautiful sights including a boat ride, and time observing beaches and mountains. The ending at Table Mountain was spectacular. My mother has limited mobility and Gordon, our guide, took excellent care to make sure we had the best access to the sights. Our guide Gordon was super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful tour of the wine areas . Horeh the guide and Bonisile the driver were fantastic and very informative. The vineyards were lovely with superb samples to drink and food parings. We wished we could have had more time at each place.

We had a brilliant day out with Mike and Bobby exploring the beautiful Cape Peninsula, everything was so well organised. The scenery was amazing and Mike gave us a great commentary on everything we saw. Just the right amount of time at each of the stops. It was nice to get the chance to stretch our legs at CapePoint walking up to the lighthouse and then walking down to Cape Hope. As well as all the penguins at Boulders Rock we also saw several ostriches, a baboon and some eland during the walk. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the area around Cape Town.

Thank you Beyond Africa! Although there was a last minute change to our hotel pick up time it worked out wonderfully. The 2 hr morning drive to Aquila's 22,000 acre reserve was a continuous jaw-dropping landscape of 6000' majestic mountains & vineyards. Upon our 8am arrival at the reserve, we were served a welcome cocktail & good buffet breakfast then headed out at 10am for the 2 hr game drive with "Max". It was such a thrill to be in wide open spaces surrounded by mountains where we got so close to hippos, ostrich, zebras, rhinos, eland and elephants! The lions are in separate "enclosure" but you get right up to them for fascinating views & photos. It rained off & on so we do recommend packing your raincoat since the complimentary ponchos are a bit thin & short. The buffet lunch after the drive was abundant w/many tasty choices! We had read some reviews about travelers disappointed that it felt like a zoo...but NOT us! Our friends were amazed at the photos & videos we posted in social media. In fact, our entire day's experience, ESPECIALLY our guide Clemente M., was an absolute South Africa highlight! Clemente gave us a wealth of information about the history of townships we traveled through, development of tunnels, effects of apartheid/colonization, and all in such a sensitive manner. He went ABOVE & BEYOND in making us feel so welcome & appreciated, that we will be HIGHLY recommending this tour to all our friends at home.

Booked tickets in the UK. Very easy via Trip Advisor. Boarding the ferry was also easy.

Once we reached the island, we entered a bus that took us on a tour of the island. The bus was full and quite cramped. There were both English and French speaking on the same bus, so 2 guides were commentating. Not an issue, but had it been just one language, we may have got round a bit quicker as we had to wait at the various stops for both to finish.

There was a 10 minute break at a very limited cafe but it did sell drinks and a cake.

Depending on what side the bus you were on, depended which landmark you were able to see.

Once the bus tour finished, we were met by an ex political inmate who gave us a tour of the prison itself and a little speech at the end about his experience. This also felt rushed as we didn't have time to look at the exhibition.

We then quickly had to leave for the ferry back.

Good tour, the guides were very knowledgeable and would recommend just because of the history.

However, it was rushed, crowded, saw only half the landmarks and no time to browse the gift shop.

Justin was our tour guide on this amazing walk through the streets and cultures of central Cape Town. Justin was very informative on a broad range of topics and helped us understand the influences that shaped the heart of Cape Town food. Even if we didnt stop and sample the local foods the tour was well worth the price just to hear the stories, legends and political intrigue of Cape Town.... but the food was amazing as well. My only suggestion is to book this tour early in your visit as some of the information will inform the rest of your stay. Justin is fantastic, so if you can snag him as your guide more the better.
