We had so much fun walking up and down and exploring all the shops. We even went in some places twice. Don’t forget your wallet! And stop for a cinnamon roll at the little coffee/ice cream truck in front of the event center. All the ppl working the shops were so nice and welcoming. We would love to stay on the spit during our next visit.

Hannalaura and Melissa were exceptional and made the beautiful ferry ride even better. It was a really fun day trip even at the end of the season from Homer!

What a great way to spend two hours in Homer. Magical creativity and unbelievable follow through. Worthy of Architectural Digest. Art, nature and beauty of all sort abound.

We hiked to Glacier Lake a the base of the Growingk Glacier. It was an amazing day! If it is sunny out, plan a little extra time for lounging on the beach as we did. Soaking up the sun at the base of an Alaskan glacier - does it get any better than that? The park was well tended and all trails were well marked.

Came here on an arrival day for a visit. It was low tide at the time and the beach was super long. Did get to see a couple of Bald eagles on the beach hanging out. Great pictures and neat close ups of the birds.

We had such a fun time at this winery. The lady behind the bar was entertaining and very kind. She gave us lots of recommendations in town and for which wines to try based on our tastes. The wines were unique with fruit juice added as well as some wines made just with fruit and no grapes. Unique gift shop. Awesome experience, a different experience and would highly recommend.

This is a cute little, bright, fresh, FRIENDLY and delicious Brewery up on a hill in town. Unfortunately there is no view nor gluten-free ciders. ( But thats due to a dumb AK liquor law that causes this not the owners). There is a delicious FoodTruck (AirStream) on property. They are a Harvest Host (HH) and Parking is relatively flat with small boards needed. looks like a new location that needs hardening. They are very accommodating if you need an extra night. which we did because we hadn’t realized when we booked originally all the ferry locations and did a day trip to Seldovia.

This was a surprise for my husband for our anniversary. I didn’t want to fly and he didn’t want to go on a fishing charter. Our first time coming to the peninsula and this was a fantastic way to enjoy the outside! All the horses were well behaved, Mark and Karina were fantastic guides and made sure to have conversations with everyone on the tour, including the three young girls (7-12) that were in the group. The weather was fantastic (heard it rained in Homer the whole time).

Yes, bring a sack lunch. You’ll have a nice break in the middle to eat/pee. It’s an “out and back” trail, not a big loop so you don’t miss anything

This was a bucket list trip for me and Alaska Bear Adventures exceeded all my expectations! Being able to observe bears in their natural habitat is an experience I will never forget. Although we went late in the season (mid September), we saw lots of bears. Being able to see the bears swimming, fishing, and devouring their catch mere feet away is something I will never forget. We made memories to last a lifetime!

Had a great time with MAVERICK CHARTERS, Capt. Dan and Zev!! And on their last day of fishing for the season. Limited out on Halibut and Rockfish and I even caught a Pacific Cod. We'll be using them again!

This was easily the best thing we did in Alaska (and the best thing we have done on any trip)! Our guide was incredibly knowledgable and we felt safe the entire trip. Emerald Air provided waders and boots to keep us dry and made sure we knew how to behave around the bears.

We were able to see over 20 bears and multiple sets of cubs over the course of our tour and got great photos of them all!

Our pilot was also amazing and took us by some beautiful mountain views that would have been worth a tour on its own.

Small boat as shown in the picture making the tour more personable. We saw plenty of sea otters, a couple bald eagles, some puffins, sea stars (aka star fish), sea anemone, and various type of other birds than previously mentioned. The captain and assistant were very knowledgeable and friendly.

WOW!! Highly recommend this trip. Communication beforehand was highly professional. The day of the actual trip we reviewed at the hangar, safety details. The pilot was amazing, I immediately felt very safe in her presence, both in the plane and on ground! The flight itself was worth the expense! I thoroughly enjoyed 'floating' through the mountains for an hour there and back. Once we arrived to Lake Clark it was incredibly beautiful! We were able to see a few bears, I actually appreciated that we had to 'work for it'. Thank you for an incredible experience!

Excellent trip and crew. Saw lots of birds, eagles, otters. and a humpback whale. Captain very graciously stopped and waited for the whale to resurface 3-4 times so everyone could get a video of it. Third time I've taken the tour and enjoy it each and every time. Highly recommend this tour whether you're by yourself or with friends or family..

Fantastic experience! Perspective from the water is amazing! Our guide was so knowledgeable, I was completely inspired to go buy a book and learn more about the area! It was a real treat to see a bear on the shore, sea otters close-up, stunning scenery, blown away!! Can’t wait until next time!
