They also worked very hard to get all the fish we were allowed to have. They were very friendly and helpful. Captain very graciously stopped and waited for the whale to resurface 3-4 times so everyone could get a video of it. Third time I've taken the tour and enjoy it each and every time. - Michael T4 contributionsWe used the ninilchik as transports for our Sitka Blacktail hunt, and they were incredible hosts! Captain Eric in first made Dillon were incredible to work with and very accommodating. Couldn’t ask for two better guys to be stuck on a boat with for a week. They cooked us great meals every day and made sure we had everything we needed to be successful. From the time of booking through pulling the boat into the dock after a day of fishing they were accommodating, pleasant to work with and made sure my needs were attended to. Our Captain on the Irish was in tune with the fishing grounds and all of us on the boat caught our limit. Our group was on a multi species trip and caught our limits. We had a lot of fun doing it. Our original trip was canceled due to weather and thankfully we had the flexibility to move to another day. A big thank you to Dan and Sarah! Incredible memories and laughs. So appreciative. It was great fun yet very professional. Mike is an incredible Captain. - Nick A1 contributionThis was by far the best experience we could've asked for. Captain B and his crew did a phenomenal job from making sure we were comfortable, getting everything set up for fishing, helping us land the biggest fish possible and educating us along the way. The gear was new and in great shape, the boat was very clean and well maintained, the crew was friendly and comical. Captain B's knowledge of the area is exceptional and everyone got their limit of daily fish. At the end of the day, the crew cleaned up all of our fish for us, once we arrived back at the dock, Homer Fish Processing was waiting for our arrival and packaged/froze everything for us to take home, it was the easiest process we could've asked for.
Thank you to Captain B and Nate for a wonderful day which was the highlight of our trip to Alaska. - steven w2 contributionsI had a great time with the crew at Harders charter. We caught fish and I really enjoyed hanging out with Ethan and his mate. There were 5 other people on board as well, all very nice. I felt at home. Ethan understands that an assortment of people have different skill levels and was able to make it easy for those who wanted that and a bit more challenging for the ones that wanted that. We have been to Homer several times and always fish with Bob's Trophy Charters. Such a wonderful time and always amazing fishing. They know all the best spots and exactly how to put you on the fish. It was a last minute trip and they were very kind and accommodating to work us in on an already full charter. The boat was large and super comfortable. Powered by 3 450H.P. Yamaha motors we moved right along on a very smooth ride in rough water. The crew and all the guest were very friendly and made it a fun trip. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the boat. Most of the people on the boat caught their 2 halibut limit. Captain Jamie was very friendly and helpful. 1st Mate Corey was lots of fun and did an awesome job on the boat. She also did and amazing job of filleting all of the Halibut...
