- Georgia40 contributionsWe had such a fun time at this winery. The lady behind the bar was entertaining and very kind. She gave us lots of recommendations in town and for which wines to try based on our tastes. The wines were unique with fruit juice added as well as some wines made just with fruit and no grapes. Unique gift shop. Awesome experience, a different experience and would highly recommend.Written May 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - IdoLove2travelWinter Haven, FL187 contributionsThis is a cute little, bright, fresh, FRIENDLY and delicious Brewery up on a hill in town. Unfortunately there is no view nor gluten-free ciders. ( But thats due to a dumb AK liquor law that causes this not the owners). There is a delicious FoodTruck (AirStream) on property. They are a Harvest Host (HH) and Parking is relatively flat with small boards needed. looks like a new location that needs hardening. They are very accommodating if you need an extra night. which we did because we hadn’t realized when we booked originally all the ferry locations and did a day trip to Seldovia.Written August 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brian F47 contributionsWe rented bikes at the very end of the Homer Spit, then rode all the way into town to go to this brewery. What a cool and typically Alaskan place. Seems every one knew everyone else. Fun atmosphere greets you when you first walk in and the beers are served in pint bottles that look like old spaghetti sauce containers. Very tasty beers and definitely worth the trip.Written August 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Julie SAstoria, OR485 contributionsA nice little farmers market. I bought jelly to take home and a couple varieties of kettle corn to snack on. I was entertaining myself while my husband was fishing.Written June 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nicola BSheffield, UK115 contributionsWe had a great pit-stop at Sweetgales on the way back from Homer. We got to try 10 different ciders and meads from dry to sweet outside on the patio in the Alaskan sun. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and we loved our little tasting session with all the flavours from local ingredients! It was a fun stop!Written May 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
