What travelers are saying
- MiriamFort Collins, CO47 contributionsThe spit is pretty sleepy in the winter. Not much is open, except for a few fishing shops and the Land's End Hotel. All that is left is the extreme beauty of the snow-capped mountains across Kachemak Bay, the awesome wild and cold beaches, sea otters floating in the bay, and bald eagles everywhere. Personally, I think it's better than in the summer.Written 16 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - zümiHouston, TX312 contributionsI spent about 5 hours in the park, hiked to the glacier lake and up the Alpine trail, both nice hikes, the latter one goes steeply up through overgrown trail and nice views. I took the 10am ride, so not too many people on the trails, but when we were leaving, the glacier lake was quite busy. I definitely want to come back and do more hikes.Written 14 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - luckyvColdwater, OH116 contributionsWe stopped here on a rainy day since our outdoor plans did not pan out. Very nice place with tons of information and excellent exhibits. There is an outdoor area which we did not utilize due to the weather. And there is no charge for admission.Written 31 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SusiiequesieNew york89 contributionsWe had a guided nature walk with Sarahlily at inspiration ridge. She was very knowledgeable and the property was gorgeous. It was a low key enjoyable experience to walk thru a beautiful property with lovely views. The price was right also. For a chill experience with no hype and just lots of trees and lawn and views across the bay and down to the city of Homer, definitely recommend.Written 4 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We learned a lot about different wines and found we actually loved some of the fruit wines (some are mixed with grapes). It was an inexpensive wine tasting and the cost went toward a bottle of wine. The gift shop was also a fun place to browse.Written 16 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- luckyvColdwater, OH116 contributionsThe beach is very serene, even though there were a lot of people walking around. Be prepared to get your feet/shoes wet if you want to walk any distance on the beach.

That being said, I don't usually like Bitters, but the Broken Birch Best Bitter was really good!!Written 27 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brian W12 contributionsVery good beer in a town with a surprising amount of restaurants and bars. The staff was delightful and offered great suggestions. The smoked salmon and marionberry jam was some of the best food I've eaten in any brewery. Highly recommended, especially if the weather is nice enough to sit outside while enjoying your beers.Written 2 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
