If you are into nightlife, this is not your place, The area is not very walkable so you'll need to rely on ubers, which are scarce after 8pm. He made sure we walked behind him so as not to stubble our toes in the darkness. We hike for maybe 15 minutes before finding a turtle laying eggs. He made sure we didn’t spook her while she was digging her hole. Then we sat quietly behind her as she laid her eggs. It was a magical experience! Thank you guys for protecting the turtles! These days, for both good and bad, you’ve got a variety to choose from. And it is Isabel Nunez who I highly recommend you get your massage from. Usually found starting around midday on the beach in front of Hotel Bosque Del Mar (south end of the beach). She is the epitome of what everyone should aspire to in their respective professions, and that’s not an exaggeration. I receive massages fortnightly back home and Isabel’s service and skill blew me away. Friendly and personable, prompt, strong but a gentle touch, fluent in English, professionally trained, does house calls, very reasonable pricing, and AMAZING magic-like hands. If you’re visiting Playa Hermosa or the surrounding areas, do yourself a big favor and spend 60 min with her - it’ll change your experience. - Ed W1 contributionFirst time booking at Olam spa. My wife and I had an exceptional experience. The spa was spotlessly clean and professional. We took advantage of the all day package. It was an amazing way to spend our first day there. I have been to many spas for massage. I suffer from sciatica and often have to direct my masseuse. Not this time! Josue was so tuned in and delivered a therapeutic treatment that made me feel great for days. We booked another massage for our last day and we were not disappointed. Treat yourself to Olam Spa! From riding horseback to the first waterfall to the hot springs, it was nothing short of spending a wonderful day in costa rica. They went a step above taking extra time for whale and porpoise watching as well. The lunch was prepared fresh and we definately enjoyed. We will definately tour with Zuma again. We always bring our daughters (10 and 12) and sometimes the grandmas as well. - Naralyn D1 contributionWe did bridges tour with Hansel & Night tour with Ronald. Both were great guides. Very informative. Comfortable ride on both trips. Definitely recommend Tico tours. As far as refreshment, fresh popcorn unbuttered but can be salty, sweet or combo. The hot dogs are nice size and tasty but the bun was not good. This is not where you go for a massage on the beach, so don't expect the bargain variety of massage.
