We were too early for the official opening, but you are able to view some of the memorial from the street view.
I highly recommend that you visit both sites.

I have visited many historical sites but the Tour Guide at the Dexter Parsonage Museum was without a doubt one of the most knowledgeable docents I have encountered.
was very moved by Ms. Shirley's stories and love for the church and parsonage, plus her love for Dr. King is Great!! would visit this site again and again.. loved it that much

There is plenty of history in each and every site, but Wanda (the docent at Dexter) brings so much to life.

The views are great everywhere.
Even if they wanted to hang out at the playground the entire time, you still can get a good view of the field.

Before visiting this site, we toured the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church and learned that the site on which this memorial stands was once used as an auction site where slaves were bought and sold.
Around the corner is the Rosa Parks museum, built on the site where Ms. Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus.

The view from atop the hill at Hank and Audrey's graves is serene and beautiful.
It was a very beautiful site and I definitely recommend visiting it if you're a fan of Hank Williams!

Beautiful building - we wished that we had more time to explore, but with other interesting sights in Montgomery, we had to cut our visit short.
It is full of history that the personnel on site have done a tremendous job of restoring and marking.

And from that aspect, this is an excellent historical site on Jefferson Davis and for civil war buffs.
You can’t miss the important and unique heritage site of the US history.
