Great short (600 m?) swim through clear blue water, snorkel, swim around the island, see the different fish, sit on the benches, look out to the other Islands or to the coast - just great!

The Church Of St Philip and Jacob is definitely worth the climb, has cozy surroundings, it is renovated, and has the best view on the town and the seashore

The town/village is built on a small hill and is really pitoresque to watch the sea from narow streets with beautifull old houses. There are many places to eat or drink, shop or just have a quite walk. I really enjoyed this place. The sea is as everywhere in Croatioa - Novi Vinodolski faced Krk island, so there is no broad perspective over the water.

Novi Vinodolski is within easy reach from Budapest, with its crystal clean natural beaches, cozy downtown streets, great and affordable restaurants (especially Adria) and friendly locals just smuggled itself into my heart.

This is really a hidden gem because it's in a one of narrow streets in older part of the city (but 2 minutes to city center), no bigger than houses around, if you're walking without paying attention you can mistake it for just some old house.
It's stone-made at the begginning of the 15th century and the alter was done by modrush vicar whom is born in Novi Vinodolski.
    Opening hours: 10am-12pm, 8pm-11pm.
I was passing by in the afternoon while it was closed, but I was in there last year and the inside of church is made into a small religious museum.
It's very nice to bump into such historical and preserved place and nicely repurposed.

It is well preserved house where Croatian ban, poet and politician was born, besides him, other members of Mažuranić family known for various contributions.
Outside looks very well, with two plaques with engravings to whom is dedicated (Mažuranić's brothers, Croatian poets), some of their verses and who gave the plaques.
Today the house is repurposed children's home.

It's a small sleepy town that is suitable for families with children. It has nice beaches but no nightlife after midnight.

We did a half day trip with Luka and it was awesome. We visited 2 beautiful coves and Luka provided everything like masks, snorkel, SUP, GoPro.
We were lucky, we had very good weather but there weren’t many other people around. It was really relaxing.
The wind was weak, so sailing wasn’t possible all the time but still it was a beautiful trip.

We were three people and one dog.

Luka does a great job here. Just book and enjoy it :-)

My 12 yr old son spent 5 days diving here and together with a girl from Austria they managed to obtain their junior diving licences. Danijel and his team looked after the children wonderfully both on land and whilst diving. I can highly recommend this diving centre.
