Rizal park also popularly known as Luneta Park, is a big urban park in manila. Its clean and beautiful. Many people go there to stroll or exercise. Best to go there early morning or late afternoon to avoid the scourching heat of the sun and be able to enjoy the cool breeze.

The place inside is amazing no doubt considering the variety of animals and aquatic life. The highlights for me were the crazily fun sea lion show, bird show, and reptile show all in one as well as the open area section where we could touch the sting rays and feed them. The kuyas upstairs were super friendly! However, the sad part about the place were its first impressions from when you first enter where the walls are faded and cracked, but nothing a few coats of paint and better maintenance wouldn’t fix. We also got to see the penguins which is another highlight, but they only let you in for two minutes and expect you to leave for 700Php. Maybe a couple more minutes would’ve made me appreciate the penguins a but more up close. I get that they’re very strict with the animals, but maybe the price point isn’t worth it for that 2 minute experience. The ladies handling the finances for the penguins were also a bit grumpy looking.

Nonetheless, aside from a few grumpy staff workers, going there for the animals and cute plushies still makes for the best experience to be remembered for the next few years to come.

Could only view it from the outside. The structure is huge & beautifully lit at night. A great spot for views, selfies and a peek into the country’s features.

Manila Bay Beach, also known as Dolomite Beach, offers a refreshing escape in the heart of the city with its artificial white sand and stunning sunset views. It has become a popular spot for leisurely walks, relaxation, and photography, drawing both locals and tourists. While swimming is not allowed, the clean-up efforts have improved the bay’s scenery and atmosphere. Though the project remains controversial, the beach provides a scenic waterfront space for people to enjoy Manila’s iconic bay view.

The National Museum of Natural History in Manila is a captivating and educational destination for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike. Housed in a beautifully restored neoclassical building, the museum’s exhibits offer an impressive collection of the Philippines’ diverse flora, fauna, and geological history. The centerpiece, the “Tree of Life” installation, is a striking and interactive display that ties together the country’s natural heritage. From rare fossils to endemic species and stunning dioramas, each exhibit is well-curated and informative. The museum’s spacious layout and family-friendly atmosphere make it an excellent destination for both solo visitors and groups. While the museum is educational, it also serves as a beautiful space to appreciate the country’s natural wonders. Overall, the National Museum of Natural History is a must-see for anyone interested in the Philippines’ rich biodiversity and environmental conservation.

It is located in the heart of Makati area where there are many other malls and hotels. It is one of the smallest SM malls in Manila. Most of the shops were of medium and local brands. One can enter this mall and roam around all nearby malls by overbridge without crossing the roads.

In addition to its role as a venue for Cinemalaya and other events, the Cultural Center of the Philippines also serves as an excellent location for jogging.

we've been wanting to visit museo pambata for the longest time and finally we had a chance to do a walk-in visit last week. so many things to see and learn in this place. too bad, one room is unavailable due to renovations. we are the only visitors during that time, almost like we rented the whole place for ourselves. and amazingly, the air conditioner is working just fine. 👍🏼 there were staff who assisted us and took photos of us but not on all rooms. 🙁 no one walked us through the tour but that was understandable since it is not an actual field trip 😅 although, im kinda annoyed with the two ladies (staff) that was chatting instead of offering us assistance. they're just minding their own business and continued chatting as if there are no customers around. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼🤬

anyway, my personal fave in the entire tour was when we wrote something on the wall using the flashlights of our cellphones. that was sooooo cool. 👍🏼 as well as the earthquake simulation table. 👍🏼

some facilities need to be fixed tho'.
📍the heart beat sound machine - sounds the same for all categories. im not sure but it really sounded the same for us.
📍body sounds - at times it wasn't working when we press the buttons
📍wall climbing area - the helmets are too big for kids, dirty, and some are busted
📍the outer space area - some of the buttons are not working
📍kaleidoscope - it's too hard for kids to rotate it on their own. it is kinda heavy for adults actually.

overall, my daughter totally enjoyed everything and that's what's important. 😊

The monument honours national hero and patriot, José Rizal whose remains are entombed in the granite base. The statue of the patriot stands atop an obelisk mounted on the base. The Philippine Marine Corps provide a continuous honour guard at the monument.

The Coconut Palace is a government building located in the Cultural Centre of the Philippines Complex. it was commissioned in 1978 by former First Lady Imelda Marcos as a government guest house and offered to Pope John Paul II during his visit to the Philippines in 1981 but he refused to stay there because it was deemed too opulent given the level of poverty in the country. In February 2011 it was officially handed over to Vice President Jejomar Binay upon the signing of a lease contract with the Government Service Insurance System. We had a quick glimpse of the building from the roadside but we were unable to get any closer.

With the strong presence of Chinese people in the country, it's not surprising that there be many places associated with them even in Manila. One of them is the Chinese Garden at Rizal Park. The place is quite small, with limited structures inside, but the ponds and the greenery are very relaxing to behold. There's also a big impressive gate that welcomes visitors at the main entrance. This garden is a real oasis in the middle of a chaotic and bustling city. No wonder it is one of Filipinos' favorite places to hang around and while their time away.
