- Czar EmmanuelManila, Philippines10,311 contributionsThere are actually three national museums close to one another in the Rizal Park area ... the National Museum of Anthropology, the National Museum of Natural History, and the National Museum of Fine Arts. Each has its own particular collection. You can visit any of them depending on your personal interests ... History, Art, etc. Entrance is free. They are closed on Mondays. They do get a bit crowded on Sundays. Queues can also be quite long and slow as they manually register guests. Collections are well-arranged and properly labeled. Some galleries are closed. Lighting system can be improved. Perhaps they need to add more elevators to give visitors easy access to the upper floors. Parking is a bit of a problem as there are very limited slots. Lastly, they could put up souvenir shops and nice restaurants as well.Written June 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rachell aHouston, Texas, United States189 contributionsMy husband and I vacationed with my sister, brother-in-law (BIL), and my parents during the Christmas holidays. One of the sites we decided to go to was Intramuros in Manila. I am sure glad we went because it is a beautiful experience. You learn about the country's history through interesting pictures and summaries.

Very interesting, learned a lot of facts about the first Chinese settlers that came to the Philippines. Lots of history.Nicely done , the lay outs and all the visuals were very good. A good hour and a half or so is good enough to go through the museum.Written January 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. anyway, my personal fave in the entire tour was when we wrote something on the wall using the flashlights of our cellphones. that was sooooo cool. 👍🏼 as well as the earthquake simulation table. 👍🏼
some facilities need to be fixed tho'.
📍the heart beat sound machine - sounds the same for all categories. im not sure but it really sounded the same for us.
📍body sounds - at times it wasn't working when we press the buttons
📍wall climbing area - the helmets are too big for kids, dirty, and some are busted
📍the outer space area - some of the buttons are not working
📍kaleidoscope - it's too hard for kids to rotate it on their own. it is kinda heavy for adults actually.
overall, my daughter totally enjoyed everything and that's what's important. 😊Written February 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
