My family and I did the Tagaytay tour and it was so fun! Eddy was a super fun guide and included plenty of stops to sample local food like empanadas, buko pie, and for the adventurous in our group, balut. My favorite part was riding the bangka on Taal Lake, where Eddy pointed out the bangus and tilapia farms. If you go, I’d definitely recommend bringing sunblock and water — Eddy already had TP and wipes for us, so you don’t have to worry about that. Also shout out to our driver Malon! If you’re looking for a fun day trip from Manila, you should consider doing this tour. :)

an excellent tour with an accommodating crew ( Eddy and Malon ); pick up from hotel, allowed extra time to make sure we had everything we needed. Drive and guide are experienced, kept a good schedule, and knowledgable. We were able to stop at a number of places along the way to Lake Taal to enjoy some of the local shops and foods. Seeing Lake Taal and the volcanoes was a delight; here is some recommendations:

    - have a light breakfast; you will have opportunities to enjoy local foods alone the way.
    - the lake weather conditions can change; our day was windy which meant the boat ride: you will get wet. have a change of clothes, sealed storage for your cell phones and wallets
    - the boat will get you close; you will not be allowed to step foot on the center landmass as the volcano is still active ( at a low stage ); your guide will share with you the information about how people in and around the lake live with an active geosystem

I would be happy to tour with them again.

We were in Manilla only for a few days, and thus tour caught my attention. It's a jam packed day, but neither do you feel rushed or a trip to tick off the boxes. You get to spend ample time at each place and meet the locals, our guide mark despite one review on here giving a 1 star was absolutely amazing. Friendly, clear on what the plan is, and you can clearly see he has a passion for Phillipine history and involving the locals. Honestly this is the best tour I've been on in all of South East Asia period. Even at the end when time was limited he offered to stay on and do one more stop if we wanted to, however the line at this stop was very long so we as a group were happy to call it a day. Not only do you see a volcano, you meet lots of cool locals, some grest history in old manilla and honestly again the tour guide mark absolutely made the whole trip worth it. If you want an in depth day, and get a true understanding of Philippine culture, this is a must do tour. On top of top of all this Mark will provide with you meny recommendations and tips for the rest of your Philippine trip. If I could hire him and his driver Jay for the whole time I would.

Great experience! I accidentally booked the wrong date but Bamboo Bicycles allowed me to still attend the ride. :) Great learning of the Intramural section of Manila, very close to the port.
The ride finished at the start around 3 hours after the beginning of the tour, with a very appreciated icecream.

I have to say, don't do the ride if you are not a confident rider - we encountered a lot of traffic on the Manila streets. Also, I thought the brakes on my bike weren't great. The route is pretty flat - and the bikes don't have gears!

As to history, it was great to learn. Some of it very confronting.

JB was an excellent tour guide, he knew the facts and he had lots of information. We had a great time learning the history and seeing the different locations. I unfortunately forgot the drivers name but he was very good and had lots of information as well. They both told us information about many different things on the drive. They also drove us to get breakfast and lunch. Both JB and our driver made for an amazing day of learning and exploring. We highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in WW2 history or Philippine/American history.

Chloe was very professional and relaxed. Put us at ease immediately. We saw how 99% of Filipinos truly live and eat. She was also a historical and cultural expert and answered endless questions. You’ll have fun and you won’t leave hungry.

The water is all clean and unpolluted. Feel the skin has become smoother for the spring water. The place remains quite secluded and not overly advertised.
An incredible life experience, which hadn't been expected before coming to Manila.

The overall experience was great. The tour started on time.
It was curated well, including the songs played while we move from one location to another added different vibes. The storytelling was really informative. The tram ride gave extra feels to the tour around Intramuros.
My children really had fun and the adults learned a lot of new things about Intramuros.
Thank you, Andrei and DSM team. 'Til our next visit.

Touring with V (Venus) in Manila was an absolute delight. She expertly guided me through the hidden gems of the city, starting with the vibrant Binondo, the oldest Chinatown. We sampled delectable street food like puto, lumpia, calamansi juice, ube custard tarts, and siopao, immersing ourselves in the local flavors.

Navigating through the bustling streets of Divisoria, V ensured we experienced the authentic hustle and bustle of Manila life. From jeepneys to tricycles, trains, and taxis, she seamlessly coordinated our transportation, making the journey both adventurous and efficient.

V’s knowledge and enthusiasm for Manila’s culture and cuisine truly enhanced my experience, leaving me with unforgettable memories of my time in the Philippines. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an immersive and authentic tour of Manila’s hidden treasures.

We actually did a full day tour of Manila staring at 10 am and ending at Barbara’s for dinner. Our guide Jonas was absolutely brilliant. He spoke excellent English and was incredibly knowledgeable about Manila and the Philippines in general. We learnt loads about the heritage and culture. He was fun, kind and considerate. Our driver Mario was very good and always polite and pleasant.

It was easy to book with YOLO snd they promptly responded to questions via Whatsapp. The scheduled pick up was smooth, our guide for the day was Eddy, local guide Paolo and driver Malon. We learnt about the volcano and landscape, as well as about indigenous people who live in the area. The guides were attentive and made sure we safely navigated the trail. It's not a difficult hike, but the trail is rocky, we enjoyed crossing the stream to cool our feet. We spent almost an hour at the lake and our guides took a lot of photos of us :) I'd definitely book again with YOLO!

The tour is a nice getaway from busy Manila! The highlight was the boat with an amazing view - do not miss it! Lunch below a waterfall was also amazing! Really great and safe and professional company. We had an amazing time with guide Eddy and driver Red.
