    popular market in the street.

The kind of place where you wander w/o looking for something special but where you can always find something to buy.

I had a good time roaming around this shopping mall and I bought a few souvenirs . It is a nice place to understand the kind of things you get in Manila.

Before the pandemic , this used to be my go to mall , for shopping , dining or just relaxation. With lockdowns and restrictions, I noticed several restaurants and shops closing down. Now with the laxity of measures , mall goers are slowly increasing by the numbers. But no changes had been made. No modifications, place becomes more dated . Lastly it is very much less cooler. I don’t like the dining ambience. Compared to the Power Plant Mall , it pales with the opening of the Grid food market.

It is located in the heart of Makati area where there are many other malls and hotels. It is one of the smallest SM malls in Manila. Most of the shops were of medium and local brands. One can enter this mall and roam around all nearby malls by overbridge without crossing the roads.

Ok so divisorio markets and malls are very busy if you have problems with being in lose with a crowd forget it.We went through most of the markets in the divisorio but I reckon the pick was Tutuban ok if you can't afford the real thing there are a few shoos here that sell pretty good knock offs at very good prices, and the quality is very good also, but you need to look around, for shoes we found that we're was a shoe specific area on the ground floor where you can bargain and so far they are really good quality, also for polo tops we found a shop on the first floor where there quality and price was very good.So if you can handle the crowds and willing to look around you can find some pretty good products here.Oh and the crowds at Tutuban are not as bad as some other markets as they do leave a good space for walkways there compared to many of the other markets

Last stop on our tour and very brief as a lot of the stallholders were packing their wares. Still plenty to see around us and along the street after remounting the bus whose driver agreed to drive slowly. The market dates to the period of Spanish colonisation, established in 1851 to serve the wealthy inhabitants but morphed into a public market by the early 1900's.

999 Shopping Mall is a typical Asian shopping centre - plenty of shops and shoppers, a variety of items and a veritable shopping paradise for everything under the sun.

Here in San Andres market, you can find as many as the fruits you looked for. You have to choose you think new. Other goods are sold here too. Dried fruits and maybe some stuff at the meat shop. But we went there only to buy some fruits.

Silahis is an incredible shop that feels more like a museum of Filipino art and culture. They offer an amazing selection of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind/ one-stop-shop for souvenirs and artwork from across the Philippines. The staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, sharing the fascinating history behind each piece, including details about the artisans, the regions they come from, and their cultural significance.

The prices are very reasonable, making it easy to bring home meaningful mementos. Whether you're looking for unique gifts or simply want to immerse yourself in Filipino culture, Silahis is the perfect spot to visit before leaving Manila. Highly recommend!

Located just a few minutes' walk from the iconic Church of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, this market and fishport is a popular destination for both local and international shoppers. The place is quite small and untidy and non-air conditioned, but it gives you a chance to immerse yourself fully in the local culture. It's divided into two sections. One is where they sell dry products, and the other one is where (you might have guessed) they sell wet products. You can haggle for lower price, if you're good at it. Just outside the market place are eateries, where you can try some local dishes (like pancit and palabok). You can also catch a glimpse of the not so clean Pasig River and the Quezon Bridge crossing it ... another famous landmark of Quiapo district. To reach the place, you may take any public transportation going to Quiapo, or try the Pasig River ferry and get off at Quinta station.

We stumbled upon this amazing property whilst walking between 2 churches. Found a gem. The house inside is beautiful and is also important architecturally. This more than a museum piece - it was part of a revolutionary movement and a cultural haven. The granddaughter of Bautista was there showing young architects around. She is very much involved and present. This was not a glossy pristine museum piece and very much needs support as it is so important. Can’t recommend it enough. We were very lucky to have the extremely knowledgeable Sandra show us around

I was there in October 2018. Had a great time at the Divisoria. This is where the locals go shopping and get the best deals and so did I. Everyone was so cool, bought clothes, food, iPhone replacement parts, ect...
Awesome prices and people. I'm going back next month (Jan 2020) and will be back there for sure.
Since being there the government has cleaned up the whole area. Hope it doesn't lose it's charm. If you want the flavor of Manila and it's amazing people than Divisoria is a must!!
