Not knowing much about Malaysian food, booked this tour to help us try different dishes.
Nadia our guide was truly amazing. Due to traffic and a storm, we were an hour late to start but Nadia ran back to get us (brought us emergency ponchos) then brought us up to speed with what we had missed, including the food.
She was so knowledgeable, helpful and generous with her time, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer guide.
We learnt so much about the food, the traditions as well as the different styles of cooking. We had 15 different dishes to try and were absolutely stuffed at the end! It helped the walk between the dishes and each area brought something new to learn. We can honestly say we would never have chosen to eat in some of the restaurants because they were tucked away, which shows looks can be deceptive. All the food was so good.
Can’t rate this experience high enough. Nadia was definitely the star of the night though.

We had a great day with our driver Raj. He picked us up from the hotel at the agreed time. Even though he is not a guide, he would always give us a brief overview before visiting each location. He would always check if we were ok. Great way to see KL in a short space of time.

Ivy Tours was a very organized company. My inquiries with the office were always answered. The day before my tour they gave me information by email about time etc. Pick up on tour date was timely. Our guide Stephen was very informative and detailed and gave us tips on safety before our tour. In Malacca, he informed everyone where all the washrooms in town were. Malacca was easy to get around for 2 hours of free time. It was nice to shop around and try some treats. Bottled water is provided on bus. Included lunch was okay.

If you’re visiting Kuala Lumpur and love food, Manjeet Dhillon’s 10 Tastings Food Tour is an absolute must. We’ve been on food tours around the world, and this one with Manjeet stands out as an unforgettable experience, thanks to her knowledge, charisma, and attention to detail.

Manjeet is a true gem—her deep understanding of the local cuisine, culture, and history made this tour more than just about eating. She listened intently to what we liked and tailored the experience to ensure it was perfect for us. Each stop was thoughtfully planned, with just enough time between tastings to savor, digest, and explore the vibrant streets of Kuala Lumpur. Manjeet’s connections in the community were evident, as every shop owner greeted her warmly, making us feel like VIPs wherever we went.

The food itself was exceptional. From the tangy explosion of pani puri to the comforting flavors of beef rendang (minang style), every dish told a story. Highlights included the creamy nasi lemak with northern-style chicken rendang, the buttery goodness of roti canai, and the fragrant curry laksa. Manjeet also introduced us to local fruits like mangosteen, snake fruit, rambutan, rose apple, and longan, which were a delightful discovery. To top it off, the sweet indulgences of pulut tai tai with kaya and pineapple jam tarts perfectly balanced the savory dishes. And let’s not forget the classic kopi C, which gave us a taste of Malaysia’s coffee culture.

What set this tour apart was how Manjeet seamlessly combined food with storytelling. As she walked us through the Central Market and surrounding areas, she shared the rich history of Kuala Lumpur, the stories behind each dish, and the cultural significance of the places we visited. It felt less like a tour and more like being guided through the city by a knowledgeable friend.

If you’re considering this tour, don’t hesitate. Manjeet deserves more than 5 stars—she’s a 110% must-experience guide who will make your visit to Kuala Lumpur unforgettable. Book with her, and you’ll walk away not only full of delicious food but also with a deep appreciation for Malaysia’s culture and cuisine.

The driver was well-accomodating and knowledgeable during the whole trip. He definitely seemed to try and provide more than what a regular tour guide would offer. The only drawback from this experience is the price, where it would have been very easy and much cheaper to have organised Grabs everywhere and buy your own cable car tickets.

It was absolutely delightful to see the city come alive at night. The atmosphere was vibrant and the illuminated sights were stunning. Our guide (Harry) was friendly and accommodating, taking us around to explore the city's highlights and sharing insights along the way.

It was a memorable experience, and I would recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy Malaysia's charm under the glow of the night lights!

Was very lucky to have this guided tour on my own. My guide, Raj, was just perfect. Honest, polite, chatty, attentive and a good sense of humour.

The waterfalls and springs were lovely to see. If I was in more of an "immersive" mood, I would've dipped in but the weather was poor. The caves were an incredible spectacle to see, well worth the journey. A few hidden surprises of the fabric shop and metallic factory were a great addition to the tour, also.

Lunch was very tasty, always good to try new food in new ways.

Dropped off with no hassle, even when the traffic started to get busy. Highly recommend!
