Talk about a huge stations. Getting into the station was easy. Finding our way out is another story. It is so huge. Immaculate. Filled with eateries, department stores and more. No need for people to have to shop outdoors. Everything you might want is in the station. Plenty of information booths to assist in helping you navigate this huge station.

Tucked in the southern side of Namba Station, it’s not as crowded as other shopping malls in the area. It’s good for those who look for a bit more upmarket brands or goods that are still reasonably priced.

It's a grand department store with many offerings as one would expect. Must say the customer service is good. In particular we were excited by the many beautiful and delicate food offerings at the basement level.

If you want to do some high end shopping this is the place for you. But besides the shopping, there are tons of eateries. Again, it will be more pricey, but if this is what you like to do, then check it out.

We felt very safe at this Universal City Walk and there is a great variety of restaurants here. In California we don't feel as safe but in Japan we felt fine and it was a nice stop for a late dinner after a full day in the park. There are shops here that sell USJ merchandise too and they are not as crazy busy as the shops inside the park. The Universal hotels are here and we appreciated that this area was available for a quick rest before we took the metro back to our hotel in Osaka.

Lots of market style shops together with the top end brands. However if your fancy turns more to vintage style clothing then I highly recommend Natural Couture. Lovely little shop with some great styles at good prices. Shame I only had half an hour but still managed to grab a couple of items. Would definitely go back

There are so many restaurants. I think it's fun to walk around and see so many different types of shops. If you come to Osaka, I would like you to visit it at least once.

What I like about this mall is that I can get the Manhattan portage bag for almost half the price online. What more I get it tax free though the lady at one of the shop was rude when I requested for a new piece and to check before purchase. She kept asking for my passport and mentioned that the piece I’m holding is already new when it was a display piece. Kinda sad because I always hear people say that the locals there are polite. Oh well maybe just this lady.

Also if u like crayon shinchan, there’s a shop here though kinda small.

Apart from that just regular mall that sells clothes, bags, etc with quite a lot of young people.

Takashimaya is used for eating, drinking and shopping. There are a lot of high-end brand clothes, so you can have fun just walking around.

There are two buildings and both basement levels have a large selection of eateries. The building further away from the station opens till late 10:30 or so which was a bonus as we got back quite late from our travels that day. They do not have seats but have standing stations for patrons to eat their food. You order at the eatery you want and pick up before finding your station to finish your meals. They were one of the cheapest meals we had in our entire trip and the ramen were delicious and filling.

Just a short walk from the JR Tennoji Station, this Abeno Q's Mall offers shoppers a great opportunity to shop till you drop! There are so many shops here, spreading over several storey floors, ranging from fashion, to shoes, bags, lifestyle products (i.e. flying tiger store from Denmark), IT and electronics, toys (even the Disney store is here and SEGA), stationery and books etc. And at the basement, there's a large Ito-Yokado supermarket and convenience stores too!

There are so many eateries, fast food chains, cafes and restaurants and you will be spoiled for choices too!

The mall is bright, clean and spacious and you can walk leisurely and on the day of our visit, it was a weekday afternoon and so there was much lesser crowd.

However, there's one issue that I encountered. When I was trying to take some selfie photos at the mall, I was actually "stopped" by a security guard "no to do so". He was polite and though speaking in Japanese and smiling, he was trying to tell me not to take photos, by showing his actions. After this encounterment, I stopped taking photos (and the photos I showed here was taken before he approached me).

At first, I am puzzled why photo taking was not allowed and thought if he was being bias since I am a foreigner. Later, as I continued my walk-about, I saw several notices on the wall and at the pillar that "photography is not allowed".

It's the first time I encounter such incident that taking photos in a shopping mall is not allowed, not even selfie in front of a pillar or wall! I am not sure of the logic or reasoning behind but it's strange!

Other than this incident, the shopping experience was pleasant and nice and we ended up buying quite a lot of stuff from here.

This is one of Osaka's busiest streets and a major tourist attraction. The area around Ebisa-bashi is the postcard image of Osaka and offers plenty of dining and shopping destinations. Busy day and night, it is a street that never sleeps. Great to experience the vibe than do real shopping.

    This hopping mall is big.
Not so too much high cost but too many people.
Especially 2nd floor and 3rd floor are too mess.

I hope I can visit there weekday not weekend next time.
Otherwise you will get so many jam here and there.

Some restaurant and cafe are good and cozy.
I recommend to visit there when you visit to Osaka.

Lucua is one of the several departmental stores right in or next to JR Osaka station, besides Lucua101, Daimaru, Grand Front Osaka etc, just to name a few. It covers several floor areas and sell a wide array of merchandise that cater to almost everyone (though more female shoppers) but prices are middle-upper range. As it was near Christmas during our visit then, many shoppers were there doing their last minute shopping.

What we love most was the food section on the basement. Besides having several restaurants and cafes, food kiosks and stalls, there's also a small supermarket. Right here, you can grab almost every kind of Japanese cuisine, bakeries and pastries and even dessert/ice cream and all look very nice and also very yummy!

In fact, this is the area within the deparmental store that was most crowded with people!

Throughout our stay in Osaka, we dropped by almost every evening (after our day tour and shopping at other places) to have dinner either at one of the restaurants or simply gotten some bento sets and have them in our hotel room.

If you are into food, you may not want to give this place a miss!
