What travelers are saying
- Matt JMEdinburgh, UK203 contributionsI would say this is probably one of the most stunning and wonderful places I've been to, white sand, clean water, and can be as busy and hectic or as quiet as you like depending on where on the beach you are. Absolutely stunningWritten November 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Travel25346533585940 contributionsThe day we went we were the only visitors. Our own slice of Paradise until about 3 pm when another couple arrived. The water was clear and warm. The beauty was extraordinary.
Visit Puka Beach on Boracay. It was worth the effort.Written November 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great atmosphere - fun people, super helpful staff, great bartenders, delicious food and perfect vibes.
I went here for the first time about a decade ago. It's still amazing. And I can't wait to go back again. Boracay experienced major changes before and during the pandemic - I am SOOOOO happy this place survived. I recommend it to everyone who visits. You just have to do it.Written June 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - mark k10 contributionsWent for 7 nights - the sea is nice and warm and shallow depth for a good distance for non swimmers (children etc ). Nice beach gets very busy just before sunset .
Can be quite annoying constantly being approached every 2 minutes on people selling tours - seems like locals also join in and must get a commission also . ( no escape even in the sea ). I would like to see plastic being collected and waste more - lots being blown into the sea .
Overall good experience - personally 3 days would have been enough for me .Written June 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This little beach in Boracay doesn’t have nothing to envy to the bigger White Beach.
Quite, with a lot of spot where to enjoy the sunset with your loved one.Written September 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Easily accessible at low tide, you can walk to it. It is also a great place to take so photos. If you are in Boracy, you should certainly try to check it out, it's quick and easy.Written July 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alexander V25 contributionsI always try to find a better place than Boracay, that I can find, only in Panay.
The only place I know so far, that actually can compete with Boracay, is south Aklan and especially Phaidon Beach Resort!
Gigantes was a great experience with lots of beautiful Islands to discover, and it makes it a greater place, because it is not ruined by bars, restaurants and hotels and polutions. I am happy that they are keeping it a clean area.
We went there on a one day tour, and I was so surprised how beautiful the area is. It is well visited, especially in the weekends, and that is why we chose go there on a tuesday!
The tour includes all kinds of fees and a delicious lunch package!
It is a boat trip, and the first leg takes around an hour! I recommend you to bring water and maybe a little snack. Don´t forget bathing shorts etc.
We had some 5 Islands that we visited and my son and I were busy jumping into the water at the places we went to, while my mom took pictures of the surroundings!
It is a 3 and a half hours travel by car from Iloilo City! I recommend you to book a place to stay. We stayed at Treasure Cove which is a 10 min. drive with a Tuktuk!
Come visit Gigantes Islands before before it becomes Boracay!Written July 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great vibe and friendly banter and couldn't resist the pleasure of foot massage, scrub and pedicure.Written December 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James MarlowSan Diego, CA7 contributionsLovely, lovely people and great English speaking guides. A realistic return to the not too distant past living conditions of rice farming communities. An important reminder of how fortunate we are and a glimpse of the culture, creativity, and immensely hard work of all members of the family contributing to the well-being of all, especially the young and old. An important addition to your travels.Written March 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Carveen Lee RSurigao City, Philippines9 contributionsIlig-Iligan Beach is highly recommended for travelers seeking a peaceful and scenic beach destination. Its natural beauty and tranquil environment offer a refreshing escape from more crowded tourist spots. While it may lack some of the amenities found in more developed areas, its charm and serene atmosphere make it a worthwhile destination for nature lovers and those in search of relaxation.Written August 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OeliramJerusalem, Israel145 contributionsWe took a tricycle to the top and then climbed about 100 steps to the lookout. The views are very nice but it's not the best spot to see the sunset because the sunset is in the north west direction of the island (shangrila area) and the Luho mount is on the east side. Also, the structure is old and not well maintained so be careful. If you go by tricycle ask the driver to wait because getting one for the way back may be difficult. Insect repellent advised. 150 peso ppWritten May 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Raissa BanosanWhangarei, New Zealand77 contributionsThis is adjacent to White Beach. More popular for kite-surfers. I don't kite surf but it's nice to just sit by the shore and watch the kites gliding in the air. Very breezy. Chill atmosphere. Friendly dogs roaming.Written March 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
