- E LSan Francisco, California, United States40 contributionsWe took the ferry from Bohol to Cebu. An easy trip overall but here some things that may help you:
You need to pay a 30 peso exit tax after checking.
There no food or drink concessions on the ferry. Eat or purchase before boarding.
There are a number of food concessions in the ferry terminal but no beer or wine offerings.
We rode business class and the seats are comfortable, worth the fee extra $$ for the 2 hour trip. However there’s no place to stow your carryon, either overhead or below the seat. If its small enough you can maybe stand it in the aisle next to you or hold in your lap.

The ships facilities are understandable however the treatment of the canteen/shop attendant is unacceptable, he is very rude and grumpy. We boarded last January 5 to Iloilo city and stayed in a private room. We bought some instant cup noodles for dinner since the ship is not providing free meals even we are actually delayed for an hour. There's a long cue in the store/canteen just because the attendant is trying to finish his meal, and when he arrives he was unwelcoming to all of the guests and even make face (grumpy)to all that cued up. I don't know if the management is aware on this kind of behavior and also they are over charging people that are asking for a hot water for 20 pesos?! Yes for just a cup of hot water! The starsy store also looks unpleasant,empty of food items, scattered used containers, dirty and unorganized. We ordered the transfer at 7 am, only 3 hours before we would arrive in Cebu airport because we didn’t have internet acces earlier but it was no problem and the driver was waiting for us in the terminal. The driver named Wendel was very nice and helped us get breakfast to go in the airport because it wasn’t possible to get any from our hotel. Nice car and the drive felt safe.

Most everything is gathered under one roof, so it's worth a trip if you're going to shop or just have something to eat. Several of the restaurants are on the ground floor, but with little outdoor space. Ayala Mall is clearly the center we visited the most times. - RogeCebu City, Philippines1 contributionI booked this van rental as my family's transpo to Cebu City, and the whole trip was comfortable and smooth. I asked the owner if we could pass by Simala Shrine before going to the city, and he willingly went with no "ifs and buts" even though technically it wasn't along the way. Very friendly and accommodating, and you can definitely sleep/rest while on the trip if you like to because the van was so comfortable and the driver was reliable too! On our way back home to the province, I booked this same van rental again for our transpo, and the whole ride was top-notch once more. I honestly slept the whole time despite some of the bumpy parts of the road because the driver was good at maneuvering through the bumps. This is technically not my first time to book this van rental as I have also booked their service a few years back, and this is definitely not the last either. I am surely gonna book again in the future! He was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable. Not to mention bad attitudes and poor communication skills. $1700 to ensure paperwork for k-1 visa process is correct and complete prior to visa interview. My finance birth certificate had an omission her visa declined and now it will take another 3-5 months processing time, travel and $$. Don't go to this agency!
