Interesting place but poorly maintained and very bad public transport links plus taxis refuse to collect you from there. Need own transport.

Place to see common and rare orchids and buy. They sold cut flowers as well as potted orchids and they are very good at packing it well ready for air transport. The prices are not so ccheap but good enough. You can buy a small pot of denrubiums for 250.00 and you can also order and they can ship it for you. their lobby has a lot of beautiful colors and varieties of orchids, you can pose pictures with it to your hearts content even if you do not buy. A place to go for orchid/flower lovers.

They have sweets, snacks, trinkets, clothing, accessories. You'll sure to find something pasalubong-wise to take back if you're pressed for time. The prices are reasonable. I saw a similar top they were selling Roxas Night Market here cheaper by 100. IDK if there was a difference in cloth though or quality.
There are different sellers here so if there's something you didn't find at one person, the vendors will direct you to someone who might have what you may want.
The tablea I bought was really tasty.

This falls is very refreshing, the water is clear and clean very cold. A lot of spots to chill in the water. There's a lot of cottages at affordable price. I highly appreciate this for summer escapade.

This is a place for butterfly enthusiast. But I suggest that some improvements should be done to make the place more inviting.

Place has 5 rooms with different set-ups in a common house. The guide was great with camera tricks that he showed us on what to do and what poses should we do throughout the tour. Enjoyed the camera tricks but not worth the while coming back, for me it is just a one time good to experience thing. Our guide was also great and accomodating by the way.

The view is breathtaking and the sunrise is magical. The waves there looks really amazing because you can see big waves and calm sea meeting halfway. It was beautiful.

This is my first visit and I think Ill only comes back once the road going inside the resort is fix. Its a very rough road. I think because this area is a private lot before you can enter the main resort or its really underdeveloped? Anyhow, i enjoyed bird feeding and i supposed to swim in the pool but no space for me. Very small outdoor pool and the place is not that maintained. I wish they will improve it and renovate.

We stayed for a night to avoid waking up so early and travel to the place. However, we weren't able to sleep well because of the noise from the view deck. The rooms were situated below it and there are lots of stomping and dragging noise before we even fell asleep and as early as 4 am. We weren't also able to get a beautiful view because of the early morning rain. Good thing about the place are the staff. They were so approachable and attended our needs well. There's nothing else to do there so staying overnight is not really necessary, you can just travel early to catch the sea of clouds in the morning.

A lot of history at this part of Davao; the beach and the park, as I read about it and headed towards it after reading visitor reviews. Of course these reviews were of 2011 and alot had changed since then. This place is in ruins. The ostriches look sad and the park is in a dilapidated condition. The water has had its way with the wall separating the park and the ocean. No rest rooms or benches.
But like many visitors; regular and new, I must say that the view of the ocean is nevertheless relaxing, calm & alluring.

DAVAO City now has its own Amusement Park known with it's famous Phoebus Amusement Park.

During the Grand opening of the Phoebus Amusement Park on Friday, November 15, 2019 hundreds of Dabawenyos trooped to the Covenant Mountain and Paradise Garden of Eden Restored (CMPGOER) in Barangay Tamayong, Calinan to personally witness and experience the grandiose show of lights and well-liked Christmas fixtures.

As one of the tourist destination, the Phoebus Amusement Park boasts of a Million lights that cover the 65 live pine trees, the world-class European-inspired mansions that turn into a majestic abode of lights, the Grand Parade, the amazing 3D Mapping Show, Martha’s restaurant, David’s coffee shop, and the Glow gardens. Practically, you can never see any area that does not glow with colorful and vibrant lighting systems.

What is more, expect to be serenaded by a chunk of live music at the Star of David plaza and hear the heart-warming sound from the band’s solo acoustic, saxophone, and violin.

When travelling to Mati, a visit to this spot is essential, as it could well be one of the finest coast views in Mindanao. My only criticism is the amount of litter we saw strewn around the place. It would be a good idea for the owner to provide some large rubbish bins, in the hope that they might be used by visitors.
