- PeterCoventry, UK13 contributionsI have been hearing about these tunnels for years. Drove past them so decided to go and take a look. Worth a visit. My wife a Filipino was very upset to see the conditions underground that Filipinos were made to work under. The staff were very friendly and the guide very good. Do not go if you are clostrophobic you have to duck your head in a few places.Written February 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mackibey88 contributionsOnce you go through the gates, it's like a different place from where you came. Timeless, too. It's a nice place to visit especially for someone who hasn't seen a Buddhist temple like us. It's feels like time stops here. Being non-Buddhist, we felt intruding as we went in the temple. You can go in as you please, just be respectful since it's a place of prayer. Don't forget to take off your shoes to go inside the temple itself.Written October 26, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John TCebu City, Philippines1,068 contributionsAs tourist, I am more drawn to the beautiful collections of older churches in the Philippines - but what this one lacks in age, it makes up for in rich, spiritual experience. The paintings on the walls, stained glass, and other painted panels are a testament to the love and dedication people have for this church. The altar area is beautiful and simple. Sunday mass was heavily attended! I could have sat in one of the nice wooden church pews a longer time, but I was trying to see other features in Davao.Written April 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TecParkerMandaue, Philippines72 contributionsPlace to see common and rare orchids and buy. They sold cut flowers as well as potted orchids and they are very good at packing it well ready for air transport. The prices are not so ccheap but good enough. You can buy a small pot of denrubiums for 250.00 and you can also order and they can ship it for you. their lobby has a lot of beautiful colors and varieties of orchids, you can pose pictures with it to your hearts content even if you do not buy. A place to go for orchid/flower lovers.Written January 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- prncsssaDavao City, Philippines10 contributionsWe stayed for a night to avoid waking up so early and travel to the place. However, we weren't able to sleep well because of the noise from the view deck. The rooms were situated below it and there are lots of stomping and dragging noise before we even fell asleep and as early as 4 am. We weren't also able to get a beautiful view because of the early morning rain. Good thing about the place are the staff. They were so approachable and attended our needs well. There's nothing else to do there so staying overnight is not really necessary, you can just travel early to catch the sea of clouds in the morning.Written March 7, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
