- Norman AUcluelet, Canada356 contributionsThis is a large mall. We visited the mall twice during our stay. Had to go to get a couple of formal shirts. Also purchased gifts. There are many restaurants in the mall. Very busy because of the time of year. Very challenging to get a ride home later again because of the time of year.Written 7 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - travelbud.netLuzon, Philippines113 contributionsThe Mall is small but I love the atmosphere it gives especially when there is a band or some sort of show and I am willing to stay here even half of my day not unlike other malls.Written 2 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maputing EUnited States63 contributionsWhile smaller than other open-air weekend markets, for the area it is still a good weekend event for you. Live music, games, and contests are commonly happening here. You'll also find your typical street food vendors and a few foreign foods as well. A little BBQ, some sausage, squid, fish, pancit, and fruit shakes are common. Even if you eating these things are not for you the area is surrounded by other restaurants, many with alcohol and other games for you. While the area is not as lively as places like BGC, Manila, or Ayala this is still a good place to go, without having to travel hours during rush hour.Written 4 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VictorianladMelbourne, Australia16,941 contributionsThis smallish shopping centre - two levels, ground and second floor as latter is called in Philippines - opened in 2015 though it feels newer.
It is accessible by using two separate lifts from the Boni Yellow Line (MRT 3) elevated railway. Two minutes and one is in the mall.
It has a SaveMore supermarket, a Shakey's pizza parlour that serves excellent salads and quite a few other dining options as well as at least one bank.
The thousands who live in SM Light Residences (also adjacent) cab often be seen. I used it while staying in one of the 22 apartments (condos) that ZEN Rooms has available at rates from around P1200/night in the SM Light Residences Tower 2: good value.
The shopping centre is very clean with excellent airconditioning and spotless toilets (CRs).Written 26 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The entrance is a flight of stairs which was surprising since most churches have space in front for parking or a small garden or driveway.
The church was simply decorated. In fact, it was the best Christmas decor of any of the 8 churches I've been to during the Simbang Gabi. Muted lighting was incorporated in the design which was interesting.
It has a second floor for the choir, and additional pews so the main aisles were not that crowded. For the most part, the atmosphere in this church was solemn and reverent. Except for a couple in their late 30s who were openly flirting with each other before the mass. They didn't care that they were creating a spectacle of themselves among the mostly quiet parishioners. Or maybe that was their aim to call attention to themselves.
Anyway, I loved that the church volunteers (Mother Butler I think) were very nice and efficient. In my experience, most church volunteers are masungit. The cute sacristans as young as 7 were very diligent in their job. Tho some were visibly very sleepy, poor things.
I really like this church.Written 14 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Other than that, most structures came out of the 60's and 70's. I was here for permits and stuff. Nothing more.Written 18 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RzgMaicaPalawan Province, Philippines75 contributionsBudget friendly stalls inside, located at the back of SM Mega Mall.
When I am in mandaluyong I prefer going here instead of going to divisoria, for their pricing is almost the same.
They have bookstore inside and few fastfoods.Written 11 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is also walking distance from Boni MRT 3 Yellow Line elevated railway station, but the newer SM Light Mall is closer to the station.
Its Robinsons Supermarket was surprisingly busy at 1030 on a Saturday morning while I had a haircut for a reasonable price of P300. Interesting the SaveMore supermaket at competitor SM Light Mall isn't as well patronised at a similar time.
There is a small food court called The Loft and a Shakey's and KFC (despite at least Shakey's also having a newer outlet at SM Light Mall.
There is also a small cinema complex, plus in the basement car park a small laundry shop.
Ideally Mr Gokongwei, the billionaire owner of this plus Cebu Pacific and Universal Robina should invest in new lighting and tiling to bring this mall up to 21st century standards.Written 26 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Well maintained even after many years in business. Friendly attendants and clean massage rooms with private baths/changing rooms.Written 5 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 201gibbyFullerton, CA16 contributionsOne goal of this trip was to have a body massage every day. Near my hotel was this one. The receptionist was very friendly, I had the choice of a male or a female for the massage. They seemed to know what they were doing because I felt so good afterwards. Soreness in my legs from walking so much, and in my shoulders from my backpack, were relieved by the end of my one hour.Written 10 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
