- Bryan COakville, Canada145 contributionsLocated on Legaspi Street, Ayala Centre, Sto. Nino de Paz - Greenbelt Chapel is a five minute walk from the Shangri-La Hotel, in Makati. Catholic masses are conduted in English at various times throughout the week and is in a very convenient location for employees in the financial district as well as area residents. For business travellers or families staying in Makati that would like to be able to attend mass while away from home, the chapel is located in close proximity to most of the hotels. Greenbelt Chapel is an open-air facility with plenty of overhead fans to facilitate the comfort of attendees. Though the chapel is located in the city centre, it is set back far enough from the street that ambient noise from traffic is barely detectable through the trees that surround the facility. The Pastor presiding over the mass was quite good. We found his homily to be well thought out, and current with today's times. Whether you are a practicing Catholic or not, the Chapel is a great source of peace, a place where you can receive a blessing from the officiating pastor, or even a place for personal reflection.Written August 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JoSanManila, Philippines23 contributionsIt was our 10th Year Civil Wedding Anniversary...I was planning to surprise my husband...a Church Wedding on the date of our anniversary, that would be memorable!
I thought it was just that easy...I went to church to inquire for the requirements and procedures and inform them that I wanted to get married on our anniversary date...to make the story short, I need to submit documents and attend seminars prior to the church wedding!
I started looking for a copy of my baptismal certificate and asking the local church in our area but, found none...then I ask my mom where was I baptized...and she told me to go to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe!
Since their records is still not computerized, I looked at their books based on with the year of birth, I must say that it was well-organize and I easily found my name in the record book...I requested the documents and they acted on it fast that's why we were able to get married after 1 month!Written August 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SkykingToronto, Canada207 contributionsWhile walking along L.P.Levista in Makati one evening, I spotted this Greek Orthodox chapel. It is a small building close to the Goethe Institute lLibrary, and a plaque on the outside states that it was constructed and dedicated to the memory of Prof. Dr. George Lucas Adamson, a Greek immigrant and founder of the Adamson University, I was unable to go inside since the opening hours are posted as 07:00 to 09:00 AM.Written February 16, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
