We rented a van through the sightseeing tour for the day or actually for 2 days. We had 6 of us in the travelling party & wanted to show some of the party the Tagaytay sights. We stopped for Lunch & then proceeded to have a driver tour of the Tagaytay region. It is well worth the effort to travel here. Its about 90 minutes from Makati. The views of the lake & volcanos are spectacular. The views as you drive down the side of the mountain are amazing. We returned via Cavite & it was a great route to take with exceptional 'photo opportunity' spots along the way. Well worth the effort & a nice break from the craziness that is Manila Metro.

5/5 would use JP’s services again

By far the best tour we had in the Philippines. My husband and I are overjoyed with JP’s drive from Manila to Batad Rice Terraces. It was very considerate of him to let us know what to pack the day prior and what to expect the next 3 days.
We started our ride early and stopped for food and stretching throughout.
The first homestead had a beautiful view with amazing food. I recommend trying the special adobo for dinner.
After a night’s stay, we enjoyed breakfast with a view, the local tour guide, Johnathan, made our way up to Batad. We had 2 view point stops where Johnathan gave us a brief history of the terraces and culture. When we got to Batad, there was a short hike to our overnight stay to prep and started our walk through the fields.
It was a hard walk for me as I’m overweight but JP and Jonathan were patient and encouraging. My husband went down to swim by the waterfall and loved it. From there we started our trek back, stayed the night and drove back to Manila.

The itinerary: Caving, hiking, culture, and all while surrounded by stunning views, this was really an amazing experience, and something we certainly couldn't have found anywhere else. All our activities and their order was really well thought out, we never felt rushed or like too much or too little was packed into each day. The rice terraces look gorgeous in pictures, but it's really something else to see them in person.
Our guide: Bryan was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and patient - he always made sure things went smoothly and was such a nice person to have with us.
Where we stayed: each of the places we stayed had good food, were very clean, and were in beautiful locations. Some were more simple and stripped back, but imo it's worth sacrificing some creature comforts for the experience!
Thank you Vagabondpinas for a trip my boyfriend and I will always remember.

An amazing trip to North Luzon with Yolo Travel!

We contacted Yolo to arrange a tour of North Luzon’s rice terraces and surrounding area. The remit was broad, only that it was for two people and should be 6/7 days. Paulo at Yolo was amazing. He very quickly proposed an itinerary which covered all the parts we wanted (including some we had never heard of), as well as advising on the best times to visit and what to bring.

Our tour covered Banaue and the surrounding areas (Batad, Hapao, Tapiya Falls) before moving on to Sagada (Sumaging and Lumiang Caves, surrounding waterfalls, Blue soil and Hanging Coffins).

Yolo arranged all the transport, guides and accommodation, making this a very stress-free trip. We did a private tour for two people, meaning that everything was done at our pace, which was especially appreciated after a few days walking the rice terraces! We had separate guides for Banaue (Abner and Mulin) and Sagada (Rex), all of whom were local and very knowledgeable on the area and local culture and customs, couldn’t recommend them enough.

We had amazing time and will definitely be using Yolo again for future trips, thank you!

I was in the Philippines two weeks ago and unfortunately I had to cut my holiday seriously short in fact we only had two days. all the travel we did extremely gutted for 2 days. however thank goodness I booked the amazing snorkel and islands tour it was beyond amazing I would like to thank our guide and the boatman and driver and the restaurant which we had lunch. without this one truley stunning day my holiday would have been a total loss thank you so much to yolo travel for providing me and husband with our only memory of the Philippines worth every single penny. the guide was overly helpful thank you for teaching us how it's done properly I can safely say snorkeling is my new favourite thing saw so many corals and amazing fish absolutely wonderful sights were seen including caves and feeding the fish I hope you all stay safe x
