This was a fantastic experience eating and drinking with a local guide named Mizuki. I really enjoyed this small group food tour. Mizuki was extremely personable and did a great job of answering our questions and telling interesting stories. The best part was that the places we visited were locals only - the Monja-yaki restaurant and yakitori yokocho were both filled with locals - no tourists in sight!
We ate and drank a ton on this tour: daifuku, ohagi, monja-yaki, okonomiyaki, yakitori skewers (pork belly with garlic sprouts, chicken neck, pork temple, etc) and lots of Lemon Sours and sake!
Definitely come hungry and get ready to experience local food with a local!
