- Kay C2 contributionsAn excellent tour and chocolate tasting. So knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. It was definitely worth the $40 entrance fee. I was dubious about going but my 24 year old daughter convinced me to go and we both loved it.Written November 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - saschabhhMelbourne, Australia110 contributionsWe walked up to the house just prior to the waterfall’s entry of the street and a lady with a massive goitre charged us FJD20 each to get access.
The strenuous walk through nature is great, but not without danger, as it is steep and slippery in several parts.
The waterfall itself was great, but very rough due to the tropical rains in the days prior, so swimming wasn’t a thing for us.Written November 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anna SStockholm County, Sweden42 contributionsWe had a lovely walk in the humid, lush rainforest. The trail is well prepared but you need good shoes because it can get slippery. The ranger provided very good information on the animals we might encounter but the wildlife did not cooperate this time. From the beginning of the trail there are beautiful views!Written August 31, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - stella kOahu, HI76 contributionsEnjoyed watching kids swim in the water near steam vents along ocean side in evening....then walked up to see the actual springs up by the school. Interesting to see and the signage is even more interesting!Written December 6, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James D7 contributionsWe visited Nadamole the day after our wedding in Savusavu, with the hope that our guests would experience part of the amazing people culture in Fiji; which is a significant part of our love for fiji and choosing the location for our wedding.
We were not disappointed.
We were met with the warmest, wholehearted welcome by the entire village. Many if our guests said the village tour was the highlight if their whole trip, which included our wedding!?!
I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Nadamole, arrive prepared to fall in love.
Full disclosure: We also returned the following day, our wedding photographers were so touched by the village experience they donated their time to generate content to promote the village; as it had no online presence.Written February 4, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We bought a coconut 🥥 to drink and eat.Savusa is a small friendly town. The shops are reasonably priced. We bought clothing ,toiletries and souvenirs. The waterfall nearby was refreshing to swim in. Find the hot springs, near the school to see the locals cook their food.Written September 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephen F2 contributionsWas travelling to JMC as a family with three girls aged 20, 16 and 11. The youngest two completed their open water course with Kini and then joined the rest of us who were already certified at a few of the reefs and Marine Park a short boat trip away. The children received amazing tuition and attentiveness the entire time. Highly professional outfit with high ratio of dive staff : divers and a strong focus on safety was evident. Everyone on the team was super friendly and went out of their way to ensure that all divers had a spectacular time whilst accommodating the difference in experience levels aboard. Dan, Thomas, Kini, Aggie, Leo and everyone else - thanks for a wonderful time. Prices were not cheap - but diving in exotic locations rarely is. Reef sharks, manta rays, sea turtles, soft corals, etc. Plenty to see - and the night dive was also a highlight of the trip. I am sure these will be memories for the kids to last a lifetime. And it was wonderful being able to share the experience with them and the JMC diving team.Written January 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nadine W1 contributionI did 3 days of freediving with them and I absolutely enjoyed the feeling of calm and relaxation.
Neelam and Tobi are great people, fun to be with and are very passionate about the ocean and you can really feel that they both love what they do. Diving with them is very safe and personal and they are teaching with unwavering encouragement.
Highly recommend this place! Just go and book it – you won't be disappointed. The whole experience and the hot shower after the diving session was 5 stars.
Thank you Neelam and Tobi I will be back for more!Written December 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They were both longer 1/2 week trips, there is a lot of flexibility to mix and match what you would like to do.
Mike is not only a great line fisho but an excellent Spearo too. He was able to help us with our hunting techniques and it was comforting having such a competent diver with us.
The off grid experience was very unique and enjoyable! We got onto some great fish during both trips and ticked off plenty of new species - highly recommend!Written December 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I am a pretty new diver and everyone went out of their way to assess my current experience and comfort level and tailored my dives accordingly, beginning with Maureen and Rodney when I first arrived. After that I had a couple of incredible dives with Gina, the turtle whisperer (we saw a turtle on both of our dives!), and Jope. Gina went out of her way to take me out even when it was just me and her, and she really gave me a personal tour of the awe-inspiring reefs and marine life. I wanted to practice skills so I could get more comfortable, so she did that with me too. I know I saw so many more things than I would have otherwise seen. In addition, everyone was extremely flexible with the scheduling as I was here during some suboptimal diving weather (rainy season)- they really let me go and do whatever I wanted every day! I can't say enough nice things and definitely plan to return.Written March 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Janet MSouth Australia, Australia21 contributionsMeeting the people in the village and being shown a traditional style of living was a fascinating and a wonderful experience. Going on to the Waterfall and swimming in the crystal clear water and the deluge was refreshing and huge fun. The mud bath at the Hot Springs just topped of an exceptional Fijian experience. Highly recommended when in Savusavu. Elayne is the best with a wealth of local knowledge to make the adventure just a little bit better.Written September 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
