Excellent late afternoon/evening trip, we were picked up at our Hotel by tuk-tuk and taken to various local restaurants, sampling different types of Cambodian dishes. The trip also included a drive out of the City to visit rice paddies, lotus pondsand a small village, where we also had several dishes served to us by a family (thank you for your hospitality Mr Wet and your wife!). Then back in to Siem Reap for more food and finished off in a bar for Cocktails. All the restaurants were clean, the food good and the tuk-tuk driving safe. Great value for money and a way to get to know more about Cambodian food and the way of life. Thanks also to Borey for guiding us, a great evening out! If you are not doing an early start for sunrise next day, “afters” in the Old Market area of the City would be a good idea, the tour finished around 9pm so the night was “still young”, if you were not getting up next day at 4am!

We really enjoyed the cooking class with Sopheap, a super nice and smiley woman. We did a short visit to the market and after that we cooked in a small group. Everything was really clean and well prepared before the class. After cooking together, we sat together to eat our meal. We cooked an appetizer, a main dish (three options to choose) and a dessert to share. Portions were generous. Recommended!

View of sunset over the lake was very special, as was the drive through the countryside and the boat ride through the floating village. I'd probably give the crocodile farm a miss going forward- was more depressing than anything. Food was plentiful, although was fairly standard fare. Staff were very friendly

From the hotel pickup, with an excellent English speaking driver, to the Master Chef lesson, I'd recommend this activity. It starts with a visit to the local village market with an explaination of all the items for sale. The work-station at the lesson was clean and well stocked. The instructor is a professionally trained Master Chef. The lesson included a hands on instruction. The locally inspired cocktails was a delightful addition to a delicious self-prepared meal. I'd highly recommend this activity.

We had a wonderful last evening in Siem Reap tasting local food with our guide Mr. Nak! He took us to three very different places that we never would have found on our own, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Mr. Nak also told us interesting facts about the history of Cambodia as well as his own personal story. All in all a lovely and memorable evening and perfect finale of our Cambodia trip.

Had an amazing time. Our guide Voleak was both professional and fun. He showed us really nice and clean places and we had a great experience at one of the local markets.
A really nice experience, definitely recommended.

Sophos provides not only an excellent cooking class—applying his years of experience working as a chef—but also shares insights into Cambodian culture. Walking through the market was also very informative.

An informative tour of the local open market, with detailed expanations and plenty of photos.
The destination for the class was impectable. Clean and fully stocked. The instructor is a 'master chef' that has worked at several local hotels and professionally trained.
I enjoyed personal attention and instruction for techniques. The food was delicious.
I was impressed with the English skills from the tuk-tuk driver to the instructor.
    I'd definitely recommend this activity.

Had an incredible guided tour with Sean after having time to enjoy the lotus tea and lotus seed biscuits on the top floor, as part of the tour. Sean was very knowledgeable and showed us the stages of work involved in producing this incredible, strong, and airy silk. Items are available in the store made from silk produced on the farm and vary in price, with myself buying a more affordable makeup bag made from the silk. Overall, a valuable and relaxing visit I’d recommend anyone in Siem Reap to check out.

I booked this experience after reading so many positive reviews. It exceeded expectations for our group and was such an ideal inclusion in our stay in the Siem Reap area.
We were so welcomed by the family who hosted us, after hearing about village life and vegetable growing from our guide. The dishes we chose were delicious and we loved that we cooked enough for the family, guide and driver to enjoy a meal also.
The communication at every step was outstanding. Thank you Mai and family for sharing your time with us

Vandy and his coworker showed us a great time around Siem Reap. We went to several different establishments, and enjoyed various local foods. Finally, went to a fun pub for a beer (or two). It’s a great way to get to know Siem Reap. Highly recommend.
