They offered an international buffet, the cruise was along the creek which lasted well over an hour. They had music and friendly staff. My parents insisted on going, and I am so glad we did! What a wonderful place! Yes, it’s far, and not your typical glamorous Dubai, but the place is wonderful! There are lots of pavilions representing different countries and you get to experience various foods, shopping, and cultures. This place is nice for adults and children. You get to see an old Dubai and New Dubai on different sides, it does give you a new perspetive to look at life. It's such an authentic experience, as it's the traditional way to cross from one side to the other. It only takes a few minutes and 1-4 Dirhams, but let me tell you, the views and the atmosphere are totally worth it. In the summer they have offer for each ticket 1 water bottle and 1 ice cream .

The climbing net, light room, Lego car and water room were a massive hit for my two year old. Truly out of this world and he was so excited
The staff were absolutely wonderful and made each person feel so special
Canteen staff were so friendly too and the giant choc chip cookie and cappuccino were delish.

We got to the area walking and as we crossed the bridge, we saw what it was all about and had to get down to the water level and do the promenade along the waterfront. We had a gelato at Massimo's and as it grew darker the silhouettes of the gigantic buildings were pronounced by the lights positioned on them. Beautiful. We've been there on numerous instances and never were bothered by anyone. Some people will try to sell you stuff (drinks, tours) but they're not insisting and very polite overall. It has clinic inside too from where you can do your medical. This mall has ship, elephant structure nice cuisine to choose from. Has home box store here. There are public showers and toilets but not everywhere. There are areas where you can swim at night too.
