- ZoiDubai, United Arab Emirates14 contributionsEven though i live in Dubai i often visit Dubai fountain. It is impressive. - Maggie W6 contributionsIt’s smaller than Dubai Mall, but it has its uniqueness. Stores are arranged easy to find, serval boutique stores are interesting. If u want to spend a whole day there, there are fun activities to do as well apart from shopping like ski Dubai!Written 8 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ruthandvernWilton, CA15,345 contributionsThe see and be seen venue on the canals of the marina. We got to the area walking and as we crossed the bridge, we saw what it was all about and had to get down to the water level and do the promenade along the waterfront. We had a gelato at Massimo's and as it grew darker the silhouettes of the gigantic buildings were pronounced by the lights positioned on them. Beautiful. Great walking, the sundown and temperatures cooling slightly it's a serene location.Written 30 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ZoiDubai, United Arab Emirates14 contributionsThe souq is impressive. The outside area mostly. It is good to walk around. There are several restaurants there. There is a paid parking but you can get it for free if you dine in. I recommend it for day and night since the view is stunning. I don't like that in some souvenir shops inside the souq the sellers are quite persistent trying to sell you stuff in a very high price in my opinion, since it is very touristic place. Of course there is no price on the products so they tell you what they want. The last time i visited there was one seller who was trying to convince me to buy something and he got very aggressive while i was politely telling him that i am not interested to buy anything. He sounded very rude to me and the other lady i was with. I did not want him to get in trouble and i did not report this incident. The seller was foreigner, and i understand that he wanted to make some money and he may had a bad day. However if you are not intend to buy anything i recommend to not even stop to see something especially if you are only ladies. Even though the majority respect ladies in Dubai and is safe for us, there are rare cases that some male for foreign countries don't really value ladies.Written 7 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jack KZurich, Switzerland41 contributionsThe beach is clean and fairly quiet. I wouldn't recommend opting for the private beach areas, the public part is good enough. We've been there on numerous instances and never were bothered by anyone. Some people will try to sell you stuff (drinks, tours) but they're not insisting and very polite overall. It is also safe at night.Written 21 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Portia DcruzAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates14 contributionsThis mall is very different then the other mall you come across it has a wide variety of shops and ample space to just walk. - ZoiDubai, United Arab Emirates14 contributionsIt is my favourite beach in Dubai. It is clean and safe. Weekends can be very crowded and is stressful with parking unless you go very early morning. There are public showers and toilets but not everywhere. There are areas where you can swim at night too. Better take an umbrella with you but be mindful since it can get very windy sometimes.Written 7 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's the largest man made island in the world, and it can be seen from outer space. It took 6 years and 12 billion US dollars to build. It has a monorail running up its spine which ends at the impressive Atlantis Hotel. And, it's not the only man-made island in Dubai. There are several others in various stages of construction. If you want to see it from above, go visit the “View at the Palm”, a 240 meter high viewpoint of the entire island, located on the 52nd floor of the Palm Tower Hotel.
It's definitely a must-see attraction while in Dubai.Written 14 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
