We got to the area walking and as we crossed the bridge, we saw what it was all about and had to get down to the water level and do the promenade along the waterfront. We had a gelato at Massimo's and as it grew darker the silhouettes of the gigantic buildings were pronounced by the lights positioned on them. Beautiful. The Marina front is large and offers fantastic views back to the famous Dubai downtown skyline.

"I VISITED THIS PLACE"....
... because our lodging was at the Dubai Marina. e enjoyed walking back and forth, from the connection to Bluewaters Island all the way to where the marina empties into the Arabian Sea in the direction of the Palm Jumeirah.
I also bicycled here in the pre-dawn darkness, from ke0530am until 0800 when I joined Chabad for their daily meeting in the Address Marina Hotel.
