- Orem10 contributionsAna amazing place to visit described as the oldest and first to be built in Dubai
I've visited it during a you with Mohamed (Aladdin tour), it was worth itWritten 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They have historical building, where agreement has been signed and modern beautiful building, which describes this process. They have different modern digital exhibits, along with private things of Emirates Sheikhs. Staff is very welcoming, many thanks to Kate, who provided us a guided tour when we came. Also they organise workshops even for kids. There is a nice park around the museum and a few visitors.Written 29 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hatem A2 contributionsThe Glass house is beautiful. You will get to see all the plant that were mentioned in Quran and Sunnag. Usually super busy during the day but luckily I came in the morning and I had all the place by my self. The staff is friendly. Ahmed Naeeem gave me a tour of the place and made my visit more lively.Written 4 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Laura SMontreal, Canada41 contributionsThe museum is stunning. It’s very nicely laid out and there are people to direct you every step of the way even though it’s mostly self-guided. Clearly a lot of thought and planning went into it and it was really eye-opening and educational. I would plan for at least 3 hours to view all the pavilions. The restored historic houses were one of my favourite aspects of it although there were a lot of interactive and participatory elements as well. It’s definitely definitely worth the trip. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable as well, particularly in the jewellery section.Written 13 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Julie L6 contributionsOur group (30 people) visited this museum and I was completely astounded at what this one man managed to do, out of his love for history and respect for all who contributed to it. We only had time for one of the museums, which houses a collection of historic documents and art from the different Abrahamic cultures. Definitely worth a visit.Written 16 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Karl PHo Chi Minh City, Vietnam77 contributionsThis is one of the most innovative museum displays I ve seen, very cleverly arranged. It is vast covering 23 buildings, has a small coffee shop somewhere around buiding 8. Aircon is very cool throughout, good wheel chair access. A bit convoluted to navigate but there are secuty guides/ guards who are there to show you the way, ask if they dont approach you first. The content is beautifully presented and shows the culture and history of Dubai. The glass fronted ticket office provided cool respite from the heat and is around 80m from the lifts down to the metro station. The water front and souk are nearby.Written 28 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Not a huge museum but interesting and informative, it took us about 45mins. There is a gift shop but we didn't visit.Written 16 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jerrold61321 contributionsEspecially for those who remember the old Trucial States stamps -- issued in large quantities in decades past, a visit to the Philately museum in the Fahidi district is well worthwhile.Written 22 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
