A top 3 shopping mall in singapore. Lots of luxury brands. But also mass market brands, restaurants, cafes etc. There is a food court too

Popped by with no expectations, was blown away with how enjoyable it was. ✨

The museum was well thought in terms of conceptualization and thoughtful traffic planning. It came with an activity / challenge sheet for redeeming rewards.

There were ample (delightful) photo opportunities and a good mix of interactive and immersive elements which kept it engaging. My favourite photo opp was a 'boba bae' figurine.

Would highly recommend this museum to others. Looking forward to the next installment! I'm a fan. ♥️

I held a company event here and the service and experience was amazing. They have a Guinness book of world record whisky museum (both the top valued collection and the top valued bottle of whisky in the world) which is breathtaking! The place is posh and stunning but most importantly, it’s the people that made this entire experience memorable.

Laura and Cally were extremely helpful. They went out of the way to help us during/before the event, even dealing with last minute requests. They and their staff were extremely kind and generous and our guests had a great time! John Bosco, who is the Whisky Ambassador, was also great and kept our audience glued with his knowledge and wit during the tasting session.

All in all, a great experience! One definitely worth recommending to any whisky aficiandos or even to anyone who wishes to start somewhere on their whisky journey!

Thanks Laura, Cally, John and team for the amazing night!

Probably 1 of the best contemporary art galleries in Singapore and located in the heart of orchard road. I go visit them a few times a year and view their good collection from murakami, yayoi, hirst, miro, Chagall, etc. Indeed, I've bought a few pieces from them over the years. They have branches too in Seoul, hongkong , London etc and I've viewed their galleries too

Gnani arts gallery has a beautiful collection of paintings by renowned artists. The gallery staff and management are very responsive and helpful. It great to see Indian art forms in Singapore and how much they are respected. Mr. P. Gnana's sculptures and paintings a mix of contemporary and traditional Indian techniques are indeed beautiful and meaningful.

Not every tourist had an opportunity to visit the Istana as it is typically open to the public only 5 times a year. But the Istana Heritage Gallery compensates those who missed the Istana with a meticulously detailed write-up on the history of this neo-Palladian style building since her birth.

I had visited the Istana on several occasions but it is this gallery that really enlightened me on her history than the Istana grounds.

It was pure coincidence to bump into this gallery. I was attending a computer class at MDIS Orchard Campus and was early for my class and I decided to detour and walk around the greenery in the Istana Park. And I found this little jewel in the middle of the greenery. However, the gallery is open only from 10 am and will close at 6 pm. When my class dismissed at 5 pm, I decided to drop by to visit the gallery.

The gallery was not very big. It gave me an impression of an exhibition hall than a gallery. I was a bit disappointed but then, I met Ms Jean, an enthusiastic volunteer who was on duty at the gallery. She was friendly and was patient to accompany me for a gallery tour and was very keen to explain the significance of the numerous exhibits on display and on the various gifts from foreign dignitaries presented to our Presidents.

It was the first time I came to know that the construction of the Istana owed much to the labor of the convicts who were deported from elsewhere by the British colonial government. I also learnt that the Istana was the residence of the British governor before it became the office of our first President, Some of the gifts from foreign dignitaries were impressive and the gifts showed the amount of respect we gained as an independent nation though geographically, we are a tiny nation..

The history of the Istana is a mirror of the relentless struggle of our people against foreign domination. The British governors once lived here and the Japanese imperialists once occupied this building. But now it is the office of our democratically elected President and Prime Minister and we hope it shall remain in the hands of our people and our government.

While the gallery is small, it illustrates the history of the Istana and the struggle of our nation.

The gallery is just opposite the Istana and the Plaza Singapura. It is also besides Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. Admission is free for both locals and foreigners.

K+ has always been noteworthy in that they showcase new or under-the-radar artists from around the world. It's a lovely little space, and a therapeutic surprise in the midst of the materialistic madness that is Orchard Road. The brand of art you get here is different from what you typically see at the National Gallery or Chan Hori; it's geared towards quirky, the strange, and the melancholic.

To date, I've only visited two exhibitions, namely, Ants in Singapore (which was when I found out about this space) and The Luckier, and I thoroughly enjoyed how the artists and K+ team made said exhibitions as interactive and intimate as possible. Overall a lovely space to take a short break at, and introspect.

The space also features a gift store which showcases products from various up and coming artists, along with profound works of literature. i.e. Murakami, local writers. Artists occasionally host workshops here as well for fledging artists, and they sell out really quickly.
