Nice snorkeling spot for corals especially, some people wrote it's not perfect after thypoon may be it's a really better before but at overall it took 1 hour snorkeling around there and we saw lots of corals and fish, it was enough and enjoyable spot for us and our tour brought us to sardines and turtles to Moalboal, we swam 1 hour also there. Tour spots are fare I think, I would recommend đź‘Ś

The island was amazing. The water was so clear and there were tons of birds flying around the trees. We even saw a humming bird. This is a secluded island away from the noise and pollution of the bustling city, if you want to unwind this is the best place to stay.

One of the must visit places when you're in Bantayan. There are tables and cabanas for rent where you can rest and dine. There are stores where you can buy food and drinks. You can also bring your own food and they have a grill area as well. Clear waters and there are areas where you can snorkel. You can also do cliff diving as well

We did some Island Hopping from Mactan, and its very nice to visit here. Palawan is better, but his is still good, hence the 4/5 stars. We did not pay per head so we just docked near and swam in the ocean. I flew my drone here also, Beautiful.

If you have some time to spare, take a short boat ride to Caohagan Island from Lapu Lapu jetty in Cebu. The island has about 150 local families who make a living by fishing and selling ornaments made from shells. You can buy some fresh seafood and get them cooked by the locals.
There is a entry fee of 200 php per person with kids charged at 100 php.

Unfortunately the typhoon has demolished most of the buildings, still a lovely island though, apart from the rubbish in the water.

My wife and I enjoyed the snorkeling very much. The water was clear, and there was a decent variety of coral and fish. Our experience though is snorkeling is better in Palawan, Bohol and Bantayan. A warning: we took a jeepney to Cordova Church, then tryke to the boats. Upon arrival at the first place the tryke driver took us, they wanted to charge us 2600 pesos for a two hour snorkeling trip. The tryke driver told us we could get a boat for 1200 at another place, took us there, and we were told the cheapest boat would be 1600 pesos. It's a scam rip-off for foreign tourists. Later, friends told us there is a ferry that will take you to the island for under 100 pesos. No one at either pier would lead us to where we could board the ferry.

We went to Funtastic Island as it is commonly called. Saw many reviews before hand and was a little leery about what to expect. I must say the reviews slamming this place were way off. The cottages that sit on the rocks are no longer different colors. They are all painted white and blue. The cottages were all very nice and well maintained, we brought our own food and they even have "grills" in a few of the bigger cottages to use for cooking. The water is clean and clear and was great for swimming and snorkeling. Overall it was a very good time.

Visited La-aw Lagoon on a near perfect day. We had a local guide. Well worth the visit. Be prepared for a steep climb in a ravine. There are some bamboo railings but generally the climb down is not for young kids and the elderly or overweight. Well worth the effort

Beautiful secluded island with a lot of beach spots with caves etc! On entering the island you see the tombs of the locals which were quite characteristic! We went climbing up on the cliffs and the views were magnificent there wasn't a clear path so a lot of cuts etc would recommend trainers! Completely different to malapascua as it is so quiet! I went alone with a tour guide who made me feel a bit uncomfortable and with nobody else around not very safe! I wouldn't let this put me off the definitely recommend but perhaps with a bigger group or people you know with you!

As a dive spot, no questions asked, this place is nice. Jacks and bat fish frenzy indeed.

But why do the Koreans running the resto charge Filipinos the marine fees? And when I asked for an official receipt I was told they don't have any. Isn't that illegal? Sure, perhaps they are the ones tasked by the LGUs to collect the marine fees but at least have the decency to provide an OR when your guests ask for one.

Boatmen were making announcement that you can go around the island or stop for sight seeing. We did try and s we were brought there. It was just close to the Blue Coral accommodation and we made a bargain to a certain amount agreed upon.

Nice place for diving but could be dangerous if we took a swim without the gear. so just for a kind of boating we went around and landed on Logon beach.

This islet is so humble that it may look like a ruin but the its underwater boasts of the an amazing array of underwater flora and fauna. Teeming with life, a day will not be enough to dive all of its awesomeness. Though current is a bit strong but the corals and the fishes will definitely make the trip worth while. When visiting, make sure you have enough provisions for the water and food. Don't forget to protect yourself from the sun though there are cabanas that you can use to chill out. Please remember to take only but pictures and make sure to bring all your garbages with you when you leave the island.

Did not visit the actual Island but this is where most of the Island Hopping tour in Bantayan would stop for snorkeling activities.

This island was a disappointment and a heartbreak. Yes, the fish are alive and we even saw a Tuna underneath the waters but the garbage and trash are everywhere!!! It's not a fish sanctuary anymore :( As much as we want to take the trash from the ocean, we cannot take everything that there is on Hilutungan island. You could really be swimming with garbage and it will break your heart to see the fish underneath come close to it and the danger that it poses to them. Lots of plastics. I am hoping that the Cebu government can do something about it and the environmental fee that we paid for will be put to good use.
