I went here in the 3rd weekend of January where sinulog2023 coming back on street performance and street dance at the new venue of SRP cebu city. Firstly I visited this important church where Santo Nino ( baby Jesus) places in the shrine . The dat before Grand procession , it’s mass celebration to commemorate Santo nino first came to colonial city , Cebu by Magellane. The interior of the church itself is extravaganza arts of Gothic era. It’s crowded but the ambience was very tranquil.

"I recently visited the Ayala Center in Cebu and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The shopping center was modern, and spacious, and offered a wide range of shopping and dining options. I was able to find a variety of local and international brands, as well as unique boutiques and specialty stores.

The food court was particularly impressive, with a diverse range of cuisine options and seating arrangements that made it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Additionally, the Ayala Center was well-maintained, with clean facilities and friendly staff who were always willing to assist with any needs.

Aside from shopping and dining, the Ayala Center also offered a variety of entertainment options. I was able to catch a movie at the state-of-the-art cinema, and there were also several performance stages that offered live entertainment throughout the day.

Overall, I highly recommend a visit to the Ayala Center in Cebu. Whether you're looking to do some shopping, enjoy a meal, or simply relax and take in the sights and sounds of this vibrant city, this shopping center is a must-visit destination."

Sadly, Kawasan Falls was smashed by the recent typhoon. I visited magical Kawasan many times over the years but I was shocked by my recent visit in September, 2022. The falls and surrounds were so badly damaged by Typhoon Odette that they were unrecognizable when I visited again recently. The only way you can visit the upper falls and Kawasan itself today is by going canyoneering with an experienced guide because of the dangerous rock formations and rubble caused by the massive typhoon. My guide Arnold was terrific, and great fun. Kawasan is unrecognizable today from what it looked like before. It was one of the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve ever seen, but not today. The canyoneering above Kawasan was spectacular but hard going with many minor falls, caving, waterholes and cliff jumps. Well worth doing but you need to be reasonably fit. The picture of me here is of the beautiful smaller falls above Kawasan. The other fun pic is of me and girlfriend, Genevieve. The final pic shows me with Arnold, my guide, drinking coconut wine after a fun day out canyoneering.

it's a bit of a hike to go see, but so worth it to swim and see how beautiful these falls our. We took a van and have about 15+ family members to enjoy it.

Beautiful to visit during at night. Though visiting this place during the day is great too if you want to see the Cordova bridge.

It can be crowded in the main viewing area but there are plenty of space for everyone.

A historical site where the final outcome had a major impact on the Philippine life. We hit it during “rush hour”, super busy, couldn’t really take it in.

Fort San Pedro is military defence structure in Cebu and is in the area called Plaza Independencia, in the pier area of the city. The original fort was made of wood but early 1600s a stone fort was built to repel Muslim raiders. The Fort today dates from 1738 and is the oldest triangular in the Philippines. It has been restored and is open to the public and admission is charged ,It looks like it could use a clean!

The museum covers a number of aspects of life in Cebu and in doing so the interactive video (if I can call it that) on the tablet the museum provides does an admirable job. Lots of fascinating artifacts from Cebu's past. The museum is well adorned and interesting to visit.

A beautiful Oasis on top of the hill. Bring your walking shoes but there are plenty of places to rest. Once you get up top some of the best views that's views of the city.

For world history buffs, it's a must visit spot. The man who led the first sailing expedition around the world met his end at this spot in 1521 at the hands of Lapu Lapu and his men. A memorial to Magellan and the statue of Lapu Lapu are the highlights in a wide plaza. Area is safe (although parking spots are not plentiful). A bazaar of local goods are also featured on the grounds.

For those who don't have any appreciation for history...it will be a bore. For others, it will be fascinating. Know which type of person you and your traveling companions are.

Nice snorkeling spot for corals especially, some people wrote it's not perfect after thypoon may be it's a really better before but at overall it took 1 hour snorkeling around there and we saw lots of corals and fish, it was enough and enjoyable spot for us and our tour brought us to sardines and turtles to Moalboal, we swam 1 hour also there. Tour spots are fare I think, I would recommend 👌

It's not as touristy as other waterfalls for sure but for an introverted office worker like me, the Aguinid Falls course is just right. I loved being among the quiet lush greenery. I'm always in the city so to see greenery instead of buildings and cars was very refreshing.

Initially, I was a bit apprehensive because it does not look very impressive in the photos, but surprisingly I had a very good time! The course was a little bit hard for a weakling like me (I really do not get enough exercise) but not hard enough to make me want to quit halfway.

The guides are very friendly and helpful. They don't demand you to tip but my friends and i gave my guides 400 pesos each.. thank you for ensuring our safety. I don't go out a lot so I was a little scared about the course. They always helped me when I needed help in carrying my weight.

Thank you csp for the ride there.. we appreciate the free towels (I forgot to bring my own) and also the go pros because we don't have any of those at home.

Next time, I will bring my own waterproof bag.. my phone almost got wet.

The house structure is amazing enough but to add to that the house is jam packed with various collectables no doubt gathered by the family over a considerable period of time. The house is still used by the family, apparently. I think it is worth the admission price.

3 hours drive from Cebu City. When you reach the docking area you will check-in and they will give you an orientation - protocols, but no room keys yet. 10 minutes boat trip to the island. No fancy greetings, you have to walk all the way to their other check-in counter, where keys will be given when available. Note: NOT a good place for elderly or PWD, lots of walking and stairs climbing. They have a golf cart that runs only up to 4pm, after that you have to walk from sand bar back to your room, a good 10 minute walk. They do not provide maps, so you have to navigate by yourself. The lagoon was pretty, but no one was on standby to help us there.
Food was ok, during breakfast limited choices, no cereals for kids.

Rooms are big but television and telephone is not working.

The island is beautiful, serene but they can improve more on their service and amenities.
