I found Cebu to be a bit underwhelming and am glad I booked a day tour to Bohol. Bohol was stunning and much cleaner then Cebu. This tour is a great way to escape Cebu and explore a different island. We were picked up from our hotel on time and brought to the ferry port. The ferry ride was about 2 hours then our guide picked us up on the other side. There was a lot of travel that day, lots of driving and boat rides. But the attractions on Bohol Island were all worth it. The church, Tarsiers Chocolate Hills, Coconut wine, and lunch on the boat were all fantastic! Our guide was funny and knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend this tour.

Great day trip! They did a good job of taking us to the highlights of the island. Elmer. our tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and hospitable. There were 5 of us in one van so it was nice and private. They were also accommodating. We were in Amorita Resort which was not a regular pickup route for them but they obliged, and showed up 30 minutes early. Highlight of course was the Tarsiers and the Loboc River Cruise which was quite entertaining. Food was delicious as well. If you are on the fence on it, I highly recommend you do it!

We joined a Bohol Countryside Tour with Abraham Bohol together with mostly Western guests. The tour van fetched us at 8AM and we visited these these places:

    - Tibuok Salt Making Area
    - Tibuok Showroom Store
    - Coconut Wine
    - Chocolate Hills ATV (optional, some guests availed of this for an extra 1.1k, 1 hour)
    - Chocolate Hills View Deck
    - Bohol Man Made Forest
    - Loboc River Lunch at the Loboc River Resort (Food is paid separately, it ranges from P200 onwards)
    - Kayaking, Boating, Stand Up Paddle Board Rides
    - Baclayon Church

What I like about the tour is how it mixed the usual Bohol Countryside tour without the kitschy activities like the Butterfly Garden and Python Sanctuary. I was surprised though that the Loboc River Cruise—which was nice too—was not part of the tour, it was instead replaced by a lunch at the serene Loboc River Resort. And included with our lunch there were free kayak, boat, and paddle board rides. Not a bad alternative, if I may say so.

I also like how the tour went for the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary, the more ethical and sustainable tarsier viewing site in Bohol, prioritizing the tarsier’s well-being over the viewing pleasure of tourists. We, nevertheless, still got pretty good pictures of the tarsiers, especially since our guide assisted us in taking photos.

And finally, I love the energy and insights of our guide, Jirah!

This tour by far exceeded all of my expectations! I was part of the 4 motorcycles small group tour to see the historic mission church from 1500s, the man made forrest, the smallest primate - tarsier and the Chocolate Hills! 😃 What was really magical when we arrived to two different jungle waterfalls spots - Pangas Falls and Pahangog Falls (twin falls). On the way to the countryside, I highly recommend to bring a facial covering or a face mask because the smog emission in Philippines isn’t controlled. Many many passing trucks and buses emitting smog and lots of pollution on the way to the magical experiences and places of Bohol island.

The sunset views were gorgeous. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was amazing to watch the island “appear” when we arrived it was all under water. By the time we left it was an island

this island is a must when visiting leyte or cebu. its better to go there from leyte rather than cebu. the long travel hours from cebu then staying in the island for 4hours is not enough.

    Worst experience ever!

We had the ATV included in a private tour. We got a car with two seats.

There were many problems with the ATV:
    1. When you turned the steering wheel the wheel did not react until the wheel had been turned 180 degrees. That was the same for both left and right turns.

    2. The brakes did not work at all causing me to almost hit the guide’s car several times.

    3. When using the accelerator, it was not possible to gradually increase the speed; it was either very slow or full throttle.

Along the trails we saw many strandes ATW:s.

For obvious reasons we skipped going up the Chocolate Hill.

We asked to see the owner, but he was conveniently not there.

Of you want to stay safe, avoid this company.

In addition, I saw that there was another • (very bad) evaluation on this company that had been removed the second time I went back to Tripadvisor; is it really possible to remove • (very bad) evaluation? That group’s experience was even worse than ours, where the owner has said that ”it is normal that the brakes do not always work”!

It's been the second time we choose Ecotravelers and once again it was AMAZING!
Our great tour guide Jessie and high skilled driver Fronie were the perfect team. We were looking for an authentic human experience and this is exactly what we had. We highly recommand this company for everyone who wants to discover the true Philippines and respect the environment. Thank you!

We pretty much enjoyed all the stops particularly the Lapu-Lapu shrine and the Sirao Instagram sites. Leila, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable of the history of Cebu. She also has some recommendations on where to stay if ever my wife and I decided to stay in Cebu long term.

Wear wet shoes/lightweight trainers, bring your go pro camera and bring some balls. This experience is NOT for the faint hearted or those with mobility issues. There are several falls and you can jump down all of them (if you’re brave enough). The longest jump was about 20-30ft, and We were given a friendly guide (Ryan), safety gears (helmet, life jacket and suitable footwear) and an experience we will not forget in a hurry. The whole experience took about 4 hours, and food were provided. Our guide was very friendly and looked after us very well. Our guide (Ryan) was more than happy to carry our possessions, and take photos/video records of our jumps/activities. We picked up a few bumps and bruises, hence the paperworks we had to sign at the beginning. This activity can be dangerous if you are not confident or you don’t pay attention. You can, however, choose not to complete any jump if you don’t want to, the guide will not force you to do anything you don’t want to do. This activity is a lot of fun and we are very happy to have taken part. Highly recommended!

The trip is split into two parts. The first part was the sardine run and the turtle viewing. The waters are crystal clear and there are SO MANY sardines present. I thought we would have to go far from the shore but it’s more like a drop off close to the shore which is very nice. We also saw some barracuda, jelly fish, lots of other colourful fish and a turtle!! He was so cute. There is a good amount of time to swim and the guide was fantastic. You can hire flippers also for 150p so you can swim further down which was helpful. The second part was the falls. They are BEAUTIFUL! You can swim under them and they provide life jackets for such. The photos we took here are really nice. Definitely recommend bringing your own snacks and lunch for the day however the tour guide did stop at the 7/11 for us which was awesome! They also have a GoPro that you can borrow and they will upload all the photos and videos for you to your phone before you leave. Definitely recommend. :)

We had a great time on this trip. Our guide, Connie, really knew a lot about the area and its history.
