- jlizasoParanaque, Philippines94 contributionsThe place was well maintained, after more than 15 years since our last visit, I am still at awe and really appreciate the beauty of this place. The good thing is there are improvement in the area, wider driveway to maneuver the cars and the road is well maintained. The surrounding vegetation really give a good accent to the panoramic view of the hills. Locals are very helpful and polite.Written 9 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- islaw961Tagbilaran City, Philippines10 contributionsThe place is far from the city, the province capital. So be ready for a scenic ride going to Danao Adventure Park. The view from the top is refreshing. For the adventurous spirit, the Plunge is a thrill! Other rides and activities are fun-filled as well. While you're there, try as many activities as you can. Unleash your energy and be thrilled!Written 5 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- irenevffBulacan Province, Philippines3,919 contributionsfor 150 pesos, you can see the world's smallest primate up close and personal. those eyes would stare at you like you would at them menacingly. as nocturnal animals, tarsiers are supposed to be asleep during the day.
this facility houses a souvenir shop that sells items that are exorbitantly priced. don't be fooled to buy a 200 peso single shot-glass if you collect this kind of stuff. that same price can buy you four pieces in a department store.
come early in the morning to avoid the crowd.Written 18 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. we are awed by the sun's rays escaping through the branches and leaves of this forest, creating a natural light show as we jump, plank, sit, shake and gyrate our bodies to catch a picture-perfect pose with so many greens as backdrop.
this man-made mahogany forest is a wonder. truly a pride of the boholanos.Written 18 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was just after the mountainbiking, that i asked the guide if it was possible to swim. The Loboc river isn't just beautifull, it is really nice to swim! Just be carefull to stay away from the SUP boards ;)Written 27 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ReslimpanRayong, Thailand2,916 contributionsNice beautiful white sand beach in the town of Anda. Very shallow waters, thus kid friendly but a bit of a nuisance having to walk way out to swim. The area is known for sea urchins so wearing shoes are recommended. When we were there the beach was clean from both seaweed and trash.Written 1 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - teacherk6Bankstown, Australia1,054 contributionsWe visited this attraction mid March 2022 and it was closed. It seemed to be closed for quite a while. All signage removed and no one around. I'm hoping someone from TA will update when and if it opens again.Written 15 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - teacherk6Bankstown, Australia1,054 contributionsI visited March 2022. BE WARNED that the road in and out of the area is is VERY POOR condition and you have a high chance of getting stuck or damaging your car. I used my navigator from Carmen and the default 'shortest route' was an absolute disaster. Heavily damaged road, large deep holes, areas under repair and construction. We were driving a regular sedan and JUST made it trough. There were times I needed to stop and ask the workers to flatten deep ruts left by the trucks.
The car behind me managed to damage under their vehicle. Upon arriving you must park your car, pay a small entrance fee of around 75 pesos and then pay another fee of 100 pesos to be driven the rest of the way to the entrance of the falls on the back of a motorbike. Note that you will get wet, the bridge crossing the falls was destroyed and you must walk through the water to the other side holding a rope.
At the end when you are taken back to the place where you park your car you are offered a rice field tour for around 100p. WELL WORTH IT!!!
Upon returning to collect my car we were advised that if we continue on the road we will eventually exit the area. We were also told that the road to leave should have been the road used to come in as well however since the navigator takes the shortest route it took us a totally bad way.
IE the 'longer way' to get there is the slightly better road to use.
The exit road was not much better. If you want to visit this site I STRONGLY suggest you ride in by motorbike / SUV or 4x4 or get driven there by a tour company.
So, please ask before driving there. I'm very surprised we made it through to be honest and more surprised that out hire car didn't sustain any damage.Written 25 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ARYANMETALPhilippines15 contributionsWe were having our Island hopping last week and this place is one of the lists.
All I can say is Pandanon is a nice place, however I didn't get a chance to experience their sand bar since we (group) arrived at noon.We stayed here for 2 hours ,my group and I really enjoyed a lot with a nice view and a cool sea breeze ...Written 21 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JbajbaManila, Philippines75 contributionsWe arrived at Maribojoc Mangrove , contact info at Facebook , to view the fireflies. At first, we thought we will not see them because of the rains. According to the boatmen, they come out after raining and better to see them in a moonless night. Due to recent typhoon that wrecked havoc in Bohol and the boats that cruised Abatan river, boat rides are limited to just 2, so long waiting time. The fireflies are just a delight to see. I believe this is also featured in other parts of Bohol like Loay.Written 21 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Perry SBrooklyn, NY5 contributionsWe took an afternoon trip from Anda Beach, up through the rolling hills to see the amazing rice terraces. We parked at the top and then walked down through the jungle (512 steps!) to swim i the Can-umantad Falls - well worth the trip.Written 29 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steven SPattaya, Thailand565 contributionsLocated further north than most of the tourist locations but having watched youtube videos I added it to my day tour. I had prebooked my own car and driver before visiting Bohol. Parking is 20 pesos and then when you get to where you descend you pay an entry fee of 20 pesos. I assumed there must be two different families making money from this attraction.
It is a steep descent by concrete steps but it does not take that long. Very nice location. Swimming, large boulders to chill out on, shaded areas, just a cool place to spend a few hours.
Not many foreigners visit here probably because they don't do much research. I was the only foreigner there and my driver told me it had been 19 years since he last visited.Written 15 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
