We went around 3pm and rain was threatening, but it was still worth our while to see. Beautiful! We only stayed for about 30mins - that was enough time to check it all out.

for 150 pesos, you can see the world's smallest primate up close and personal. those eyes would stare at you like you would at them menacingly. as nocturnal animals, tarsiers are supposed to be asleep during the day.

this facility houses a souvenir shop that sells items that are exorbitantly priced. don't be fooled to buy a 200 peso single shot-glass if you collect this kind of stuff. that same price can buy you four pieces in a department store.

come early in the morning to avoid the crowd.

we laughed more when vehicles start to appear and disrupt our instagram-worthy poses in this part of the mahogany woods.

we are awed by the sun's rays escaping through the branches and leaves of this forest, creating a natural light show as we jump, plank, sit, shake and gyrate our bodies to catch a picture-perfect pose with so many greens as backdrop.

this man-made mahogany forest is a wonder. truly a pride of the boholanos.

The place is far from the city, the province capital. So be ready for a scenic ride going to Danao Adventure Park. The view from the top is refreshing. For the adventurous spirit, the Plunge is a thrill! Other rides and activities are fun-filled as well. While you're there, try as many activities as you can. Unleash your energy and be thrilled!

we gate-crashed a wedding when we visited this church on our way back to tagbilaran. the belfry was damaged during the 2013 earthquake but it has since been repaired. the look after the innovation, however, does not justify the original majestic appearance of this baroque church that i first saw 20 years ago.

this place of worship will make you feel like you're in a time machine. the interiors will blow you away by its artistic design, stained glass windows, spacious area, intrinsic tiled floors, among others.

worth visiting when you're in bohol.

i don't know how this monument entices tourists to visit. but it is one of the landmarks that the tour needs to include but its history is seldom told with passion.

the clouds at dusk make up for the photo capture of this passive pit stop. had it not been for the colorful backdrop, we would not take pictures at all.

energy, people! bohol's story should be well appreciated by guests who spent their time and money visiting this place.

While is was mountainbiking, i already had a view of the Loboc river. It was just after the mountainbiking, that i asked the guide if it was possible to swim. The Loboc river isn't just beautifull, it is really nice to swim! Just be carefull to stay away from the SUP boards ;)

Nice beautiful white sand beach in the town of Anda. Very shallow waters, thus kid friendly but a bit of a nuisance having to walk way out to swim. The area is known for sea urchins so wearing shoes are recommended. When we were there the beach was clean from both seaweed and trash.

We visited this attraction mid March 2022 and it was closed. It seemed to be closed for quite a while. All signage removed and no one around. I'm hoping someone from TA will update when and if it opens again.

I visited March 2022. BE WARNED that the road in and out of the area is is VERY POOR condition and you have a high chance of getting stuck or damaging your car. I used my navigator from Carmen and the default 'shortest route' was an absolute disaster. Heavily damaged road, large deep holes, areas under repair and construction. We were driving a regular sedan and JUST made it trough. There were times I needed to stop and ask the workers to flatten deep ruts left by the trucks.

The car behind me managed to damage under their vehicle. Upon arriving you must park your car, pay a small entrance fee of around 75 pesos and then pay another fee of 100 pesos to be driven the rest of the way to the entrance of the falls on the back of a motorbike. Note that you will get wet, the bridge crossing the falls was destroyed and you must walk through the water to the other side holding a rope.

At the end when you are taken back to the place where you park your car you are offered a rice field tour for around 100p. WELL WORTH IT!!!

Upon returning to collect my car we were advised that if we continue on the road we will eventually exit the area. We were also told that the road to leave should have been the road used to come in as well however since the navigator takes the shortest route it took us a totally bad way.

IE the 'longer way' to get there is the slightly better road to use.

The exit road was not much better. If you want to visit this site I STRONGLY suggest you ride in by motorbike / SUV or 4x4 or get driven there by a tour company.

So, please ask before driving there. I'm very surprised we made it through to be honest and more surprised that out hire car didn't sustain any damage.

Excellent refurbishment. Interesting exhibits on the restoration of centuries-old churches after the 2013 earthquake. The current exhibit on works of native son and National Artist for Sculpture Napoleon Abueva is a must-see.

This is an old resilient church. Destroyed by a devastating earthquake years back. It was slowly built up brick by brick. The Loboc choir occasionally performs here. Part of every Bohol visit itinerary. A must see. Look for the 500 year marker near the front of the cathedral.
