What travelers are saying
- Karen GLeeds, UK607 contributionsWe visited the chocolate hills as part of a tour of Bohol. It was 100 pesos to enter the area. Our guide dropped us off at the entrance to the steps. I think the chocolate hills look better when you actually see them, rather than on a photo as they extend for a long way- there are actually more than a thousand. They are quite unique and I’ve never seen landscape like it before. It’s around 200 steps to the top of the viewing area which can be quite hard work in the heat. The views are great at the top and you have a 360 degree view of the hills from there. I wouldn’t say they resembled chocolate- they were green and they only appear brown after a dry spell. If you like nature they are worth seeing.Written March 10, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SunalpesGex, France25 contributionsYou need to do a park in Cebu
It was a great experience even with small kids if they are not frightened by heights.
There is a restaurant and a snack service
You can end your day with a swimming pool just under the parkWritten June 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You'll find them in Bohol Tarsier Conservation Area with a very minimal entrance fee. It is a walkthrough area where you can find these cute creatures sleeping in the branches of certain scrubs. so good to see them while they're asleep during daytime (being nocturnal creatures)...so please don't make any noise ! Admire them...take pictures and videos if you want but DON'T BOTHER THEM ! Be kind to them !Written March 18, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- @ohtaphozLas Pinas, Philippines229 contributionsIt's really a good photo but you have to really check if there are cars passing by. But it's a thrilling part to take photos of. Especially when it's a rush one. We ended up taking photos on the side but it was worth the shot.Written November 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marty ..Cebu City, Philippines3,701 contributionsDue to time restraints with our Bohol island tour .. I didn’t visit the church museum & mass was being held inside the the Church .. ( I had visited inside the church & museum over 6 years ago - on a previous visit to Bohol )

It is a bit too touristy though. There are a lot of river cruise boats.
Still worth a visit.Written November 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Florent HNorth Sulawesi, Indonesia203 contributionsIt says it all in the title.
Long beach with white powdery sand and turquoise water. It's also very shallow, so perfect if you are going there with kids.
There are restaurants by the beach but the food is really not amazing and pricy.
If you have a drone you will love the location, it's perfect to make photos/videos.
Tips: go there during the week days, avoid weekends as there will be a lot of local tourists making the place very busy.
We went there first on a Thursday there was barely anyone there, it was magical.Written October 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. 1. Hike down the fairly steep road with your legs (free, 20-30 min)
2. Walk from Eleuterio's Restaurant where you will also see some rice terrace (free or 30 pesos, 15 min)
3. Take a local mototaxi (100 pesos, 5 min)
the guide assignment onsite is unnecessary unless you need someone to help you cross the river to the other side of waterfall. but i guess it is a job creation opportunityWritten December 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You can walk through the rice fields and chill on the neighbouring hills.
Very nice spot for photography and have fun with your drone (if you have one).
Only con really, some old lady will try her luck and ask for an entrance fee. Keep in mind this is a public area tree of charge.Written October 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
