- Sightseer453380886533 contributionsBeing here, you want to get lost in the view of this place. It's a dreamy place. The blueness of the water makes one feel in a supernatural place. When you came here you felt like you were in heaven.Written September 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - eglier1Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates106 contributionsAn amazing beach to be honest, long and with white sand. I did enjoy the place with my family, it also offers several options for dine in including few hotels and local restaurants.
I liked the breakfasts in Mad Monkey!
The beach is fully recommended!Written September 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. After the driver drops you in front of the beach plaza…..just walk through for 5 mins to the beach. Once you reach there walk to the right side of the beach and go to extreme corner to view the spectacular sunset.
The beach and water is clean, so you can swim too. Number of beach side cafe and hotels are also available. After the sunset, you can chill any of those.
Must Visit for Sunset.Written October 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. One has to swim through this opening to reach this place, shining even under the shade created when the sun kisses the cliffs. I wanted to take it all in when I was there. It was beyond beautiful indeed but all I could think about was: “I should have brought a water-proof camera.”Written November 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Adventurers049Brisbane, Australia3,509 contributionsWe were lucky as there were not too many people there during our visit.
A fabulous place to kayak in. The water is crystal clear and there are amazing rock formations.Written November 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is located around 20 minutes away from the town and the name comes for the shame communicating an small illet with the mainland.
It is an awesome natural spot but unfortunately too crowded of tourists, even I'm one of them, and we saw some pollution on the area, that is very disappointing.Written June 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The crew of our boat had to throw the outdoor furniture into the water before floating it to shore!Written November 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is very peaceful, beautiful, and simply great to admire as you look upwards, sinking your ears into the water and flapping your arms to stay afloat. While we were there, there was one orange flower just above the entrance to the Secret Lagoon, and that was beautiful as well!
As far as accessibility is concerned, I would not recommend solo travelers, seniors, PWDs, pregnant, or mothers with babies to go especially when the water is high enough. At the entrance, the water has a strong push. If pushed upwards, you needs to watch your head. And below the water are some rocks that you can bang your legs and feet against. You can still be careful but once the water pushes you, you have no choice but to go with it. Our guide got us through by having us lay on our backs, and he would float us right through with experienced timing. Our mother with a baby ended up staying at the beach with a cover until we were done inside.
If you get thirsty, you can always buy fresh coconut juice from the friendly men on the little boats. They will charge you for them when you get back to your main boat. It is about P100/buko during our visit. Sounds pricey but this money can help them a lot! They are even supportive to those who can't really swim, because they can paddle you back to your main boat if you need help or feel tired fighting against the current.
I also suggest waterproofing your mobile phones so you can capture pretty photos inside. I should have done this, actually.Written May 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I walked all the way down and spent some time under the palm trees and in the clear, aqua sea. Felt like I was on Survivor, no one around. Then, I rented a lounge at the beach club. It only cost 500php and that amount went toward any food or drinks (which I had both). What I thought would be an 1-2 hour visit turned into a full day of perfection.Written April 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MIRADoha, Qatar577 contributionsThis beach is kind of far from the center of el Nido is about 20km away. To reach this beach The map will show approx time about 48min, but… be honest will take longer as part of the road, especially that close to the beach will require your strong nerve system))) and good bike driving skills. Very bumpy because of the stones and slippery because of the high level of dusty sand. Was hard for us, but we made it. The beach is beautiful as others beaches in el Nido. We didn’t catch waves but we spent nice time and left earlier because of the condition of the road and there is no light on the street. That time water was with small jelly fish, so kids didn’t want to swim as found them. In conclusion, the beach is beautiful but really hard to reach and it’s most likely other beaches in el Nido. If you are not serfer who is hunting for waves then you can skip it or use assistance to reach it.Written March 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark M36 contributionsWe went here around 11am so it was quite hot at the time. We were informed to avoid staying under the coconut trees as there were some incidents of coconuts falling on people. There was a bit of shady area in some places so it was fine.
The sand was fine and the quality of the beach was top notch. Worth visiting for at least 30 minutes to about an hour at most.Written May 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. While the downside is that the caretakers collect entrance fee which should have been already included in the tour, the view from the a very brief climb to the rocky mountain looks superb.Written February 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mallo_PahanenHelsinki, Finland977 contributionsAfter all, this is the closest beach to El Nido town and a place worth visiting. There are quite a lot of tourists, but then again there are services and cozy domes by the sea. You should check the place and form your own opinion. The sun shines here and you will surely find your place on the beach sand!Written November 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RalphieCaloocan, Philippines118 contributionsPart of Tour B and for me was the best part in the whole tour. You can see some of our shots from the picture. There was not much of an activity here except really just taking pictures but its really up to your creative imagination to make the best of it.Written May 15, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sstaleyUpminster, UK1,000 contributionsThe island looks like a helicopter from afar – very unique island in Bacuit Bay. Great atmosphere very laid back & relax – perfect place to chill out & unwind. Perfect place for swimming, gentle waves and clean water – the whole island is untouched.Written January 23, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
